OVSCRA Vintage Racing (inline sixes and flatheads) will be racing the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren Ark. starting March 17th thru October, weather permitting. We also plan on making some stops at other tracks as well, will post when dates are confirmed.
Keep on slinging dirt Vintage Style!!

Grandson and I rolling in the track before the hot laps!! He had a blast, he wished it would've been longer!! He was so wore out that he fell asleep about 5:30pm on the way home and didn't wake up until 6:45am the next day! He's ready to go again!!

3-18-12, Crawford County Speedway, Vintage Mods hit the track for their first races of the season. It was a great night of racing. The new improvements to the track (banking and 400 loads of new clay) have made it fast and it was a little on the slick side! Andy Anderson was the man of the night, as he took both the heat and the feature! He found a low line that worked and used it to his advantage.
Results:
Heat: 1) Andy Anderson, 2) Chad Lankford, 3) Aaron Moss, 4) Bruce Hill (DNS)
Feature: 1) Andy Anderson, 2) Aaron Moss, 3) Chad Lankford, 4) Bruce Hill (DNS)
The Red Racer and I got to be spectators, as we had a run in with the back straight banking on the inside wall in hot laps!

3-18-12, CCS, turn two encounter with the inside wall banking after a spin! Bent the axle and broke the wishbone! Got what I need to fix, just got to get it done before the next races in two weeks. Sure ruined our racing for the night!!

It was a Dirt-ty night!The Mod looks clean compared to what it did when we came in from rolling in the track. They moved us up on the track out of the muck, I don't know if it was they felt sorry for us or thought we were going to carry off to much of the track!! LOL
Dirt!! The only way to GO!

The Red Racer is back on all four tires again!! Just need some tweaking and it will be track time again. We race again in two weeks at Crawford County Speedway (April 7) just north of Van Buren AR on AR Hiway 59 north! Come on out and enjoy a great all around race program!

Well we got rained out after two attemps to run tonight. We came to sling a little Dirt, not Mudd!!We'll try again next week!! Hope everyone else got their races in tonight.

Had a great night at Crawford County Speedway this last Saturday night. Just about to get the setup right on the Red Racer for the new track surface.
Heat Race:
98 - Chad Lankford
53 - Aaron Moss
