If we are talking best top end I'd give it to the WoO yet.

Gravel, Macedo, Schuchart, Schatz, Gio, Haud are a pretty potent bunch.

Sweet, Abreu, Marks are top end HL. remaining are good but probably not considered top notch.

HL is obviously a fuller bunch just due to sheer numbers of decent cars but if Sweet runs with the season don't be surprised. Splitting Sweet from Gravel and Macedo could lead to more run away victories. Just hoping to see some good racing and would be very happy to see some of the others there step up there game and become that top notch competitor for either series!

Sweet and Gravel - Equal each other out.

Abreu and Macedo - Equal each other out.

Marks is better that Schuchart

Schatz and Eliason - Equal each other out.  I am talking about how they ran the last few years.   For Schatz to be better he needs  someone that Rico has.

Scelzi and Bayston - Equal each other out.

Peck and Haud - Equal each other out.

Allen is better than Gass.

Day is better than Rose

Thorson and Balog - Equal each other out.

Windom is better than Crawley.

Looks to me they are pretty even at the top.  With the HL having more drivers and a deeper quality field.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

To be fair, if you're going to use a derogatory name for the World of Outlaws, shouldn't you do the same for High Limit? Smile

Of course this  is all opinion. Your first three lines maybe be right but I'd likely consider Logan S equal to Marks. Macedo is probably better than Rico but I'll allow it As Rico has been hot as of late. Your next three lines I'd disagree. Don Don is better than Eliason. Eliason just hasn't had anything consistent enough for a ride to really start showing his strengths. Bayston is not as good as Gio. When Haud is on he is as good as anyone. Had a down year, sure, but probably better than Peck. I can get on board with Peck being more consistent though. Remaining lines I can get on board with. Fun to compare though and gauge others thoughts.

You can think Schuhart is equal to Marks and you would be wrong.

Schuhart's record as a full time traveler is stronger than Marks'.

Left out Larson and whoever they put in the 57 when he is not running assuming they will . . . . . .

Strawman,  good post, but.

Sweet is obviously better than gravel.  Gravel knocks on the door, but, sweet keeps winning the championship

Rico and Macedo. I'll give you that one.

Marks and  Logan. You have to pick Logan. He's been on tour how many years ?  His knowledge of tracks will give him an advantage over Marks.

Shatz and Eliason. Your kidding right. Eliason is lucky to be top 10

Peck and Lil haud. Peck all day, I think Sheldon needs to race smarter

It should be Allen and Windom.  Draw

Gas and Rose. Draw

Day and Balog. Day is a wheelman I think he's going to be the surprise of the year.

Thorson and Crawley. Pick em

It will be interesting to see how many stay on tour on the HL side of things. Remember, a lot of these guys ran all stars which didn't have to go cross country. Good manpower is going to be difficult for some of these teams.

BINGO!

"Hoozers" is more appropriate for USAC... y'know, "Hoosiers"?

Larson doesn't count. Just can't be a full timer. When he is anywhere though he is the best one there.

Took the words from my mouth....

I'm gonna guess he does more with HL, which gives them the edge

Sweet is the best and most consistant at all different types of tracks and track conditions in the nation. No, Gravel does not cancel him out and is not equal, although with improvements in areas  that i mentioned  him and macedo are the only other 2 teams  close to being able to rise to the level of the 49. Notice i just said "TEAMS" . I cringe when i read all of the posts of average fans not knowing any better naming the drivers not the teams but im going to do it anyway. The team plays a very important part of the drivers success. Sweet, Gravel, Macedo are not doing what they are doing not driving for for the team they are on. Ill take Macedo, Gravel, Haud, Logan, Donnie ,Gio....over Sweet, Abreu, Marks, Bayston, Allen, Peck.....anyday all day in win+ average finish on all different types of tracks and track surfaces.I think the both will have a great fiel of cars with the series members plus the whoever else shows up

Once again I'd go with Larson when he is in the house.  I can't help but feel they will put someone in the 57 when he is not available. Tie up one of the charter spots most likely.  Rico has improved greatly the past season and also often be the one to beat when he is in the house. I'd go with HL as the stronger group of drivers at this point.

If they do not race each other we will never know who is the best consistantly. At least with NASCRAP we can see how they conpare over the season. I don't like the "playoffs" but NASCRAP does not care about reality only the bottom line.

I will watch them all. I still give NASCRAP a solid 30 minutes to speed thru their races. They are as bad as football with all the commercials they play.

They will race side x side. Knoxville, for the nationals and I'm sure a few more throughout the season. It will be interesting to see what woo does when HL teams come thru the gates.

The top 3 in either series is a wash, Gravel is more of a threat to win big races than Sweet but Sweet is more consistent. Rico vs Macedo just depends on who is running better at any given moment and Marks is probably better than Logan but how much of that is Marks being able to pick and choose the tracks he's best at?

The remainder of the HL roster seem like guys who would struggle to run top 7 with the WoO. Eliason being equal to Schatz is ridiculous, Peck is fast but inconsistent, Day is a wild card who may be better than all of them but we don't know. If McFadden and Buddy both run the WoO I think you'd have to give the WoO the advantage but it's closer than we thought it would be given Rico and Marks joining HL.
