Had another Great night of racing at CCS! It was fan appreciation and final points night with 123 racers ready to rumble!! We were on display from 4pm to 6pm during the Bar-B-Q and autograph signing! John in his 32 Ford coupe was running late or he would've been in the picture as well!!
The racing got under way and we were the 8th heat, Andy was a little under the weather, so Chad was in the #27 and our good friend Dwain Rigsbee Sr was in Chad's #98. The track was still a little greasy from all the rain earlier in the day and Tom in his #6T Studebaker coupe hit a slick spot coming out of turn 4 and kissed the front straight wall which ended his night!!

All features had introductions before each race. We were the 6th feature of the night (after 1am), rolled out, had the intros, and mine and Chads night went south. The old Red Racer wouldn't bomb off (I think the battery gave up, but it shouldn't have) which ended my night, Chad broke an axle in the #27 sedan on the second or third lap which ended his night!!

We have one more race night scheduled this year, it will be Friday night 10-12-12 at Crawford County Speedway!! Remember "Dig-It, It's-Dirt!!"
