First night rained out. Second night 41 cars, David Gravel won.

The car counts for these out of the way places show that the number of sprint cars in Canada and New York have grown alot in recent years. Used to be they'd get barely a full field and now they get enough sometimes for a C main.

Great race on a technical track. Definitely good to see non "stomp and steer" racing.

I do not know when Glen Styres gets all his money, but it appears that he is helping fund this increase in sprint car racing in the area and bringing in outside drivers to his shows.

Styres made his money in cigarettes. He is a Mohawk Native American and his Grand River Enterprises cigarette manufacturing company on the reserve has grown to be Canada's fourth largest cigarette manufacturer.
Cigarettes are a big money industry along the border, especially for Native tribes along the border.
