Gundy and the school needed too be punked the way they just mumble jumble and don't explain whats going on! Many fans spend big money on these guys and they have a right to know if someones being benched for being eight up!

Today she has story about how she is sticking to what she wrote! Now thats a reporter I don't see much of in any area of news in this part of the country!

Two comments:

2. You have to be kidding me! Jenni Carlson is probably the worst sports writers i've ever witnessed. If not this recent article, then the article when the PGA came to OKC and she talked about the neuss at Oak Tree. Did you read the article about her saying Tiger Woods needs to be more like John Daily! Ha Right. What a joke.

I respect Coach Gundy for standing up and calling out the media when the story is full of crap. Not to mention even mentioning anything about feeding chicken to him. What does that have to do with sports, football or his play on Saturdays? It doesn't...just another reason she is an idiot.

Gee Josh, surely your not an "Aggie" fan. I thought you were better then that. Then again, with you being associated with a car owner whose sprint cars are painted the same colors as OSWHO, guess that topic would hit home.

But back to the story, he blasted her and asked if she had any kids. Guess her answer was "no." She ain't that bad looking in my eyes and we do have one thing in common - Aggie bashin.

I'm a Sooner fan and now a Mike Gundy fan! Jenni Carlson is NOT a reporter she is a columist. There is a big difference. As Josh stated, she has no clue as a sports columist. The Oklahoman made a mistake placing her in a sports possition. I think if she would write human intrest stories, the Oklahoman, Jenni and their readers would be better served.

David your killin' me here! Ha Ha. Of course you know i'm an OSU fan but that doesn't change my opinion on the situation. I read the article and it's just all over the place. The point is she made claims in there that she doesn't have FACTUAL information to back it up. It's all here say and assumptions. Not to mention the fact that the entire article was irrelevant. The fact is Reid had 3 years to show everyone and he didn't..it's just that simple.

We finally got to see some emotion from Gundy. so i was tickled to death about it. I think his entire purpose of making a big scene was to fire up his football team, the fans and maybe to save his job. But, he will now have a big microscope on him from here on out.

Greg your right about her. I thought that same thing reading her first ever article back when she was hired - I was not impressed with her one bit. I think the Oklahoman needed to cover themselves and hire a woman for their sports page or get called out like seems to happen all the time when equal rights aren't meant.

I have never seen so much black and orange in two days in my life, talk about over kill.

I'm a big time Sooner fan.......but I respect the hell out of Gundy for standin up for one of his players. I agree with the animal that the Oklahoman should have her just remain to do the humanity stories.....but she ain't even good at that really. The Tiger woods/John Daly article was insanely stupid. I think Gundy overreacted.......but when a stupid chic starts printin stuff like that and you have all the issues the osu football team does right now.......makes for a bad combination. This was yet another instance of the bullshit of the press creating news instead of reporting it.

I could care less how hot she is.......that kind of thing comes a dime a dozen. I don't really care what the Oklahoman writers have to say. I like Scott Sharp....and thats because he likes our local racing. If I want digested sports opinions I'll listen to the Sports Animal or watch Around the Horn or somthin.

I think Gundy did the right thing.....but proably shouldn;t have given any attention to just another stupid sportswriter........especially one like Carlson who has no clue. She ain't that good of a writer.......and I doubt it was those talents that got her where she is.

Don't give them any ideas about her covering racing. The coverage Cheese would get could kill all of us. He's fed watermellon, chicken, BBQ or whateverelse is available, before, during and after the races. LOL:)

Good point, Scott Sharpe used to do a pretty good job covering local racing, but I haven't seen him around the track for a while. Maybe between Jenni's demotion and Lanny's Viagra we can all get our name in the paper.

I would read about Cheese. I have heard from an "unreliable source" his momma hand feeds him Cheese covered chicken bits from KFC, then sends him off to school. That may actually be a good thing, but only if he plans to move to Wisconsin and open Cheese-n-Chicken franchises. lol..........

By the way, they do have chicken's in Wisconsin don't they? lol.............

We can't read but we do recognise a Cheese-n-Chicken store when we see one. We can't drive either so we just give our big ol 4 bangers the gas and hope we land in the Drive Thru lane.....
