Greg your right about her. I thought that same thing reading her first ever article back when she was hired - I was not impressed with her one bit. I think the Oklahoman needed to cover themselves and hire a woman for their sports page or get called out like seems to happen all the time when equal rights aren't meant.
I have never seen so much black and orange in two days in my life, talk about over kill.

I think her hiring probably had the same basis as Fox Sports did in hiring Lee Spencer. We never see an article from her there, and then when their Senior NASCAR Writer leaves she is hired for that position. She has a poor writing style (uses words that most college students need Google, and most often uses them incorrectly), over-dramatizes incidents, twists quotes, and forgets to check her facts (i.e. statistics). However, she is extremely qualified for the job in that she is a woman, and you must offer jobs in a "fair" way.
Heaven is when you sit down in that seat, strap on
that harness, dial the steering wheel, and flip up
that toggle. When you hear that engine start, nothing
else matters anymore; you're in Heaven.

Now, Now - Don't go woman bashing just because some man made a bad hiring choice at the paper. If it wasn't for us women, Cheese wouldn't get all that good eatin fed to him at the track.

Dave, have you had your eyes checked recently? Jenni Carlson is not very attractive. She looks even worse in person.
Carlson is a horrible sports columnist but a very good feature writer. That is what she should be doing.
Thought Gundy's comments were pretty darn good.
