You never know. Crew Chiefs can be king makers. Unless that 27 team is way out in left field I would guess Macri will do better without Shuttlesworth than Borden will do with him. Macri will need someone who can make the car comfortable for him to drive it the way he has been though.

In my book if you don't have a good/great crew chief you are not going to do anything. See the 27 over the last 5 or more years. They are there at the end but just can't seem to get any wins. And if you look back at the last 2 years Hodnett was in the car, it was consistant but, they didn't win a lot.
Not only do you need a good crew chief the driver and him have to be on the same page. You can have a good chief but if the comunication isn't there between the driver and him - you probably are not going to be sitting in victory lane.
