I forgot about Thurman fire deal, Parents had a lot of loot for back then and pretty good cars and there mother was very vocal as I remember she sat in the SW bottom corner of the Res. Section right next to us in the Gen. Adm. back in the mid 70's , Sherman and Thurman could do no wrong and could win if the others would get out of the way, remember her shouting that many times during a Sat. night show at Lawton back then. Her and Billy Brown's wife and Daughters got into it one night pretty good when Billy was running a Super Mod. yellow #11 back in the mid 70's , had an incident and we sat between them and it got a bit ugly as liquid refreshments and other things and lots of words thrown around that night, It was quite intersting to see.
Floyd Teague, #68 had a white body with blue stripes and red #68, had a half cut off Sprint tail cover with head rest on his car, won some Regular night A mains, Cannot remember who but someone told he had a Body Shop in Chickasha, Ok., it is on Hwy. 9 right west of the north I-44 Chickasha exit. Not sure if that is the case but heard it from someone a good while back.
