so can you fill us in about all the rumors??????

pay going down? adult tickets going up? pit passes going up?

What is the real story with Enid this year?

We love our track, heck, we believe its the best in the whole darn state!!!!!

We just paid 50.00 pitpasses for 2 days at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY......

If Enid charges one penny more, then I wont be there.......

I know it sounds crazy but why would I pay more to see 25 cars in my class, when I just got to see 123 cars in our class for $25.00 a day

I still believe that ENID is the best track in oklahoma but if all these rumors are true, it will go backward quickly..........

Maybe the track can get part of obama's stimulus plan, then it can remain open....

I'm sure jimmy will let me know, then I can get the new body on in time for car show, or not......

I hope this isn't slamming ENID to hard because I truly love this track but you can only take so much before you pack up and go race against the ford nine inches!!!!!!

please, ENID SPEEDWAY PARK,LLC. get it right before you run everyone off.......

THIS IS MY ONE and ONLY PLEA!!!!!!!!!!

Well I guess you wont be racin at Enid. The pit passes for a point night is $30. The pay scale has been redone to help out the whole field of cars. The stands are the same price as last year. Lonnie told me to tell you to give him a call Jayson if you need answers to anything else. We have'nt heard back from Obama yet. But we got 2 weeks. Well other then the ncra shows take a look at the other tracks payouts.

I was only looking for answers to all the rumors.....

I dont even race the car, I just work on it. Im not bashing the track at all here, I still believe its one of the best tracks in the state!!!

As for the payouts, especially in the sportmod class, Enid should be paying them more....

It was only the largest class of cars last year and had some of the best racing too. The other tracks haven't experienced the growth in this class yet, most of them wasn't even having to run B- Features last year.

It is what it is, I don't promote the track.... I was merely asking that someone answer the rumors!!!

Thats what this site is for, at least thats what I thought, to find out whats going on!

Enid has some of the best sportmods in the state and the class will be even more competitive this year because of the drivers that have joined. I just hope that Enid will do right by these guys for the shows they are fixing to get....As for the payouts, who knows? They are no longer on website!!!!!!

Jayson, To me you in no way have talked trased or bashed this track! I have alot of resepct for you and Milt you both are great guys. I have looked at other track websites that post there payout and what I have found so far is we are close if not the top paying track on a point night. If you ask me with the turn out of cars in each class the sport mods should be the premire class. But Im not a promoter. I know you said you wont run here but I really hope to see you guys. Look at the payouts that are listed on the other tracks. Not the ncra races. I know the pay has dropped a little but it is made up in the rest of the pack of cars. When they put it on the tracks website you will see what I am talking about. Come on Jayson not everyone can finish up in the top 5 pretty much every night like Milt and a few others do every night. Hope to see you soon and good luck and you guys stay safe were ever you guys race.

hey there dirtrack234,

I appreciate you answering all the questions. As for Milt racing at Enid, I'm quite sure he will make a few races there. I cant tell him where to race his car...lol...

Im sure with everyone that is racing this class this year that top 5's will not be an easy task for anyone!!! This will be the premier class at Enid Speedway this year.

Not the Oklahoma modifieds or sport mods anyway. But that is what I was told. You never know it could change. But it dont really look like it. Why is Enid the only track that is being talked about not running a show? There is ALOT more tracks in Oklahoma thats not running them! How many are, 2 in the sport mod class and 3 in the modifieds?

I jwas reading this whole thread and decided to answer this one for you jimmy...

The reason everyone was talking about Enid is because Enid had the largest sportmod class on a regular saturday night and it was the most competitive. After the decent turnout for the sportmod show at Enid last year, I'm sure everyone thought that Enid would be hosting some type of sportmod shows.

Other than the opening two nights, which dont really classify as a special show, will Enid be hosting another sportmod show like last year (2500.00 to win 500.00 to start)?

keep us updated

You know Jayson I would like to see a big show for the sport mods like the $10,000 to win street stock nationals. What do you think about that kind of show and payout? It seems to me there is more sport mods then any other class around. What do you think about something like that. Look at TMS sport mod turn out for the pay out they hade.

I would bet it would have a record turnout, especially if there were was some serious advertisement with it.

You know, I believe they could do 5,000.00 to win and 500.00 to start and with good advertisement the cars would show up in record fashion!!!! I truly believe this!!!!

The turn out for the show at TMS had more to do with where the race was and when the race was (thats why we all froze).

I would even help, Milt and I will be going to Texas to race quite often this year, and I would gladly pass out flyers at every track we go to.

I think you should call it" THE WORLD SPORTMOD NATIONALS"

Just another idea... make it a topless show... it would be awesome to see them race without roofs!!!

what do you think????? get with the powers to be and let me know......

Lonnie is the promoter. Why dont you give him a call? Its kind of funny Brill is the only track on here that lists it payout and you only want to talk about Enid. By the way Enids is a bit higher.

Why would you do a big paying sport mod race paying $5000 to win when you won't do a NCRA sport mod race with the total purse being $5,050?

nothing against the NCRA, they are a fantastic group.

I believe you would draw 3 times the cars(that would equal 3 times entry fee,3 times pitpasses, ect...) with a 5,000.00 to win show compared to a 500.00 to win show. I wish Enid was capable of doing both for I believe its the best racing track in Oklahoma.

I also believe the NCRA sportmod series will be a very successful venture, if all the promoters would get on the same page, it would be unbelievable!!!!

Use to be on their website.......Now its not there..........Have a Sportmod..........Already know what Brill, Ada, Statefair Speedway, Lawton, Ardmore, Elk City, and NCRA are paying........ Don't know what Enid is paying........Calling Lonnie is a long distance call.....You know why can't you tell me....... My e-mail is [email protected]
