how pathetic to hear McCain's camp wants to delay the debates. for all those who are dumb enough to fall for this political pandering - i mean ------- wow. no one in the senate is even working or doing anything at 9pm on a friday. its aside from the point if you agree with that or not - - - there isnt a hell of a lot to do with the economy at 9pm on a friday (duh) - the only thing to do at 9pm on a friday is to play political footsie in the backrooms of suits and cigars. if folks disagree with how all thats done - maybe they should turn their thinkers on when voting.

i hope people arent dumb enough to believe this is sincere. i dont think they want to delay because they afraid of debating obama - its what it looks like but i'm pretty sure that is not what it is. its to try to put him back on this stupid maverick pedestal as if he wants to work overtime for you. well - news for everyone - if he wants to go work overtime for the american people - get your sorry ass out there and debate - tell the people what you plan to do about the bad times and impending misery.

its an inarguable point unless BS and propaganda are injected into it. the simple fact is - there isnt much to accomplish in DC at 9pm on a friday - whether thats right or wrong is insignificant - its what we have - and it doesnt change overnight - if at all. i dont think mccain should have a problem with how that is done - he's been a part of shaping the mold for the better part of 2 or 3 decades.

there really is no more important place for our presidential candidates to be friday night. we only have 3 real chances to hear them in this way - the way in which we should hear them. there is nothing more important than sharing with your fellow americans how you plan to deal with things. which may terein lie the point. for someone who admittedly doesnt know a lot about the economy - he's probably getting 5x a day crashcourses on it. not about how it works - but what he should say. thats what they have done with palin. she makes these talking points that sound ok - but whenever her interviewer asks a follow up question - she is befuddled and clueless. this is not my opinion folks - it is what has happened twice now. with couric and gibson.

we know she wasnt picked for any special talent. she was picked because she is cute, has the whole soccer mom persona, and her radical right views rally that base. but mainly she was picked because she is a woman. even reds admit it. so what does that really mean? Reverse Sexism. you think reverse racism is bad with black folks (it is) - its rearing its ugly head in the most important and critical time for our nation. the way women have allowed themselves to be exploited the way they have - they should really rethinkt he whole female in the white house thing. i know it sounds cool - i;d like to see it too. but not at the cost of me and all my countrymen. as much as everyone wants this to be a primetime reality competition like american idol - and it kinda is now with palin - the stakes are simply too high for everyone to keep their head up their butts.

they wont even let palin talk or associate with the media. i mean literally answer NO questions. those capable of thinking for a moment please do so - why would they not want her to ever answer questions. i cant say the exact answer - i can only say its not good. its not good at all. she was picked to Politically pander to the radicals of her own base - and the narrow sexist minded core of Hillary Voters. thats pathetic,

all McSame does IS PANDER

pandering with the holdiay gas tax which even his own laughed at.
pandering with picking the dumbest VP candidate of all time (she really is i hate to say - she is pretty tho)
pandering to try to delay a debate that is much more important to the american people than what a few corrupt individuals could talk about over some scotch and pool.

at 9pm in friday - ANY friday really in the next 2 months - there is nothing more important that both american presidential candidates explaining and answering questions - and talking it all DIRECTLY TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

these days Maverick seems to mean attempts at swindling an entire country. so far that is all i have seen. and when will Palin's pimps - oops - i mean handlers - ya know those who are doing everything in their power to make sure she never has to answer a question - when will they open her up for business? lol pun intended. so far she has spoken only twice since the rnc - both in highly controlled atmospheres - and yet she still shows to be a total ignorant rambling radical fool.

anyone care to point out to me where i am incorrect. the longer she is around to embarras herself - the more i have to wander about all those who are "energized" by such an ignoramus.....i really hope we havent become a country full of 5th graders- if we have - than we need to drastically lower the voting age - because i bet they would show their smarts, IQ, and common sense and reason well against states like Oklahoma, Utah, Texas.................

ok thats my bedtime rant.

Why do you think our boy's back Obama? I know why, and so doe's anyone else who's awake. By the way it's even a higher % now. Kenny

Troops Deployed Abroad Give 6:1 to Obama

According to an analysis of campaign contributions by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Democrat Barack Obama has received nearly six times as much money from troops deployed overseas at the time of their contributions than has Republican John McCain, and the fiercely anti-war Ron Paul, though he suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination months ago, has received more than four times McCain's haul.

Despite McCain's status as a decorated veteran and a historically Republican bent among the military, members of the armed services overall -- whether stationed overseas or at home -- are also favoring Obama with their campaign contributions in 2008, by a $55,000 margin. Although 59 percent of federal contributions by military personnel has gone to Republicans this cycle, of money from the military to the presumed presidential nominees, 57 percent has gone to Obama.

Contributions from U.S. Troops Deployed Abroad
RecipientTotalNumber
Obama, Barack $60,642 134
Paul, Ron $45,512 99
McCain, John $10,665 26
Huckabee, Mike $7,950 10
Thompson, Fred $6,350 7
Romney, Mitt $5,550 10
Clinton, Hillary $3,240 6

Contributions from All Military Personnel
RecipientTotalNumber
Obama, Barack $335,536 859
McCain, John $280,513 558
Paul, Ron $232,411 537
Clinton, Hillary $167,050 376
Republican National Cmte $135,902 219
Huckabee, Mike $66,751 127
Thompson, Fred $46,400 93
Romney, Mitt $43,307 96
Giuliani, Rudolph W $22,050 47
National Republican Senatorial Cmte $21,885 26
DNC Services Corp $16,873 53
Based on contributions made during the 2008 election cycle through June 30, 2008.

Maybe they won't be afraid to count ALL the military absentee votes this time around like the democrats tried not to count in Florida 2000!

Well, out here on Pluto...

That sounds incredibly sexist -- the exact kind of thing that your girlfriends on the left fringe of the democratic party have been fighting to stop for the last 50 years. Talk like that at work and it's a sexual harrassment lawsuit for someone. You making comments like that about Palin are the same as when the opposite ignoramasses (is that a word?...I don't even care, it'll work on Pluto...) make the racial slurs about Obama. You're the same people.

Pailn's career is still early. Go ahead, sell her short again....

Palosi on the other hand, now there's a radical fool! Look at how she totally blew the bail out vote. Sure blame it all including Fanny and Freddie on the republicans. We all know what they were about - SOCIALISM. "It isn't fair that only people who can actually afford to pay back the loan get $200,000 homes -- Obama voters have to get a $200,000 home loan too so you better give them the money." And then when they can't pay all those loans back what happens? Down go the banks, down goes the property value of YOUR house and down goes the economy. Clinton rides Reagan-Bush 41 policies to a great economy for his terms then what happens to W? He has to ride Clinton's crappy policies plus 9-11 which Clinton also gets the blame for out here on Pluto and then Palosi stands up there and calls W irresponsible on budget issues while Clinton did this wonderful job. See up here on Pluto, we don't fall for that. We know ecnomies are cyclical. Policies that get put in place now still effect things ten years down the road. There, we know who should get the blame and who should get the credit. Unfortunately, those earthbound "so-much-better-educated" Obama (Clinton-Gore-Kerry too) voters -- half of whom couldn't even tell you that Dick Cheney is vice president (they proved that on Letterman!) -- can't figure that out so we're probably doomed this time around.

anyone care to point out to me where i am incorrect. the longer she is around to embarras herself - the more i have to wander about all those who are "energized" by such an ignoramus.....i really hope we havent become a country full of 5th graders- if we have - than we need to drastically lower the voting age - because i bet they would show their smarts, IQ, and common sense and reason well against states like Oklahoma, Utah, Texas.................Like I said, go ahead, sell her short again.... And while you're talking down to the Okies and Texans, remember where you're at.... Signed, The Plutonian Populist

since we're poisening a racing board with politics for I assume, just two more months, let's get an equal time, "fair and balanced" headline thread up here!

Obama getting elected would be the worse case scenario for America! Socialism, socialism, socialism! That's all he has.

Obama will be worse than Clinton and worse than Carter. Obama will NOT defend the country and he WILL cause more innocent Americans to die. Obama WILL raise taxes ON YOU. Just take out the word "rich" from any of his statements on the subject and insert the word "you" when it comes to taxes. It happens EVERTIME a LIBERAL Democrat gets in power. Turn him loose with Nancy Polasi and YOU ARE ASKING FOR IT! Obama WILL put liberal, activists judges on federal benches. Obama WILL legalize anybody that can cross the border.

He's a punk who can give speeches, debate and has a jump shot. Big deal! He ain't fit to tie John McCain's shoes. And McCain might need help with that just like he needs with a computer keyboard because of his INJURIES SUSTAINED IN A VIETNAM POW CAMP! What's the worst thing that happened to Obama while serving his country? Sprained ankle on a basketball court? And in case you think that's racist, he ain't fit to carry Colin Powell or JC Watts's jock straps either. And if you want to throw sexism in there too, he doesn't measure up in either experince and/or leadership skills to either Condy Rice NOR SARAH PALIN. Plain may have learned relegious values at an Assembly of God church but Obama learned them at the feet of "The Wrong" Reverend Wright! I'll take the former everytime!

McCain is the only vote we got and you better vote or get ready for h--- on earth in America!

How's that you pro-liberal Obama supporters. You Bush-right wing conservative Republican--McCain/Sarah Palin HATING folks? You know it's in you and the biggest reason it's there, YOU want the power to take what isn't yours and you think that's all that matters....

It's all equal time....

Hook how about adding a poll to this?

I don't know, the way polls have been going for my side lately....

But what the heck,

The Plutonian Militant Populist in me thinks it's a good idea! Just one question...

How do I do a poll on here?
