The cell that's right at track at the moment is popcorn-farting out real quick. I would bet they'll be resuming fairly quickly. Maybe next half hour. Time trials got in, so they can go right into heat races.

Is it right to say Garret Williamson was the best WoO car at the King's Royal?

I have several questions...

1. Am I the only one that thought the double file restarts were weird at the end? I get the rationale for going single file instead of double when the track shows an obvious disadvantage, but why would you go against the rules (unless I don't fully understand the rules - wouldn't be a first time) to make the rest of the restarts double file all the way until the end? Green, white, checkered double file restart? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

2. What happened to Brent Marks in the end? -2 laps? Did he pull off and not finish?

3. This was potentially Williamson's first ever Outlaw win, no? It seemed weird that it wasn't mentioned during the broadcast. Kudos to the young kid for hanging in there for as long as he did. Maybe it was a fear of an anouncers curse?

Final note: Glad to see nobody headed to the emergency room this year. Last year was brutal.

Especiall, when they indicated restarts would be single file in either the C or B...Get it straight...

Williamson being that fast is a good sign for the future but he needs a top crew chief/ ex driver to give him some pointers as to how to finish a race. He was diamonding the corner off 2 to great success mid race and then went back to the top. He's lost 3 races in the last few laps recently.

I was hoping Williamson was going to pull of the win but I think his car was starting to fade, while macri car was getting better at the end.

No.  There were several high qualifying cars.  Take a good look at the ridiculous format, and throw in some rain.  Plenty of fast Outlaw cars there.

Great week of racing all 6 nights. Confused though because people want inverts then bitch about inverts?

I had a typo, I ment to say especially when the announcers said during the B or C main that restarts at the Kings Royal would be single file. Misinformation....?

Ok. That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

They want inverts, but then they want their favorite to win from 21st position. ;)

Because it's #$%ing stupid to bury the guys who unload and time fast, and have a podium of guys who either tired slow, or sandbagged during qualifying.  Dumb.

The wheel determining the invert is better than the automatic 6, but it still rewards mediocrity which i hate.

So teams are so good at "sandbagging" that they are able make the invert to the front row of a heat whle not going too slow and missing the invert completely? Oh, and sandbagging also has to take into account that the invert is random based on a wheel spin.

Hoseheads has some wild conspiracy theories, but that is one of the best. Drivers can perfectly sandbag to start up front of a heat while not missing an invert that is based on a random wheel spin.

No, I don't believe they sandbagged, which is why I said they were slow OR sandbagged in qualifying.   So you'd agree they were slow?  At least much slower than the top 1/3 of the field?  This is why I hate the reward of an invert that automatically transfers you to the feature while the top qualifiers start out of a transfer spot!  Stupid for cars so equal where a narrow track and dirty air are King!   Stupid.  Kings Royal is over so I can forget about the nonsense for another year!

He said that when he looked at his tires during the red and compared them to Macri's, he know he was in trouble.
