Well, they finally restore Hooker Hoods notorious super from West Memphis. this car was on e-bay for sale about a year or so ago unfinished.

The Memphis Rodders threw their banquet and honored Hooker.

Great tribute to Mr Hood. I remember him showing up in Kansas City and Marshall with that car and cleaning house. Here's Hooker & the 99 with a win at Marshall, Mo.

It's even better in person. I saw it last fall in Texas.

Alan and Connie Salmans (Lee's brother) recently restored Lee Salman's #10 from the 1959/60 era. I understand that Lee came down to Kansas to complete the restoration by relettering it.

hello, i am trying to find out some info on a modified that raced at tulsa in the late 70's earley 80's. it has a sound sticker on the hood from tulsa's 83 season. the only sponsor that i remember right now is daley speed shop, that painted on the top of the hood. any pictures and info on this car, would be great. one other thing that i can say is that it appears to have had a buick v-6 in it at the time. again, any info on this car would be great as i am going to try and restore it. have a great day!
