Sweet is on a tear right now but Schatz is not far behind..Season is long and although I'd like to see a new champion, Schatz is pretty strong still..We'll see after the Nationals in August..

The 49 is dominating. Possibly the start of a new dynasty.

I've been at Pa. Speedweek & haven't been keeping up on Outlaws

I just watched 1st nite of Jackson replay... wow! VERY impressive run by Sweet

He wins 6 of last 8?  You're right, dominating! But still a ways to go before anybody starts with
"the next Schatz"

lol you guys make me laugh. Each year it's a new hope of donny losing it and someone else rising up to be the new schatz.  let's rattle the most recent names, gravel was hot a few years back, then it was haudenschild, then it was sweet, then pittman was hot at the beginning of this year, Do I think donny will win points this year? Probably, would I be surprised if he lost to sweet? no But hey give a lot of credit to sweet for taking advantage of his opportunities.

My post from October 31, 2018:

"You heard it here first-----------------Brad Sweet is 2019 WoO champion"

I believe I may be a prophet.  wink

(I also predicted Schuchart to finish 3rd in points with double-digit wins-----I'm gonna likely miss on this one)

11 WoO wins (now a member of the very exclusive “double digit club”, 2 Crown Jewels and over $400k in winnings and it’s not even August!

Aside from the money Schatz actually had a better weekend point wise than Sweet.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I never liked this "the new so & so" stuff....

He's the modern day Brad Sweet, currently on a hell of roll & maybe the next dominating driver

With the close competition the fans are the winners.Probably still the most impressive win was at the Nationals when Schatz started deep and still won.Sweet is hot and Scuhart and Gravel arent far behind If the Ford deal happens and is more competitive and costs more it will hurt racing more than help. Both Chevy and Ford are only a design with basically no parts not aftermarket.Every body likes a winner until they win often. Steve and Karl dominated for years but time takes its toll even for the very best. All the top teams have the basically same equiptment.

Sweet is definitely rising to Schatz's level. But lets not bury Schatz just yet... he has still won 6 races this year, including 3 of the last 5 points races. He looked untouchable Wenesday and Friday night.
