What an exciting races. Hats off to Mike Spencer with his last corner pass for the victory, This race is what the PAS is and Sprint Car racing is all about. Thanks to all the drivers and car owners for making this happen.

We have a new crop of rookies. Johnny Bluntach in the #58 car stayed with the pack during his heat race. Very impressive. Unfortunately he got into the wall in turn two during the semi.

Rodney Argo got caught up in a wreck that looked liked a lot of parts got bent.

What can you say about Mike Spencer? He chased the Demon like a terrior. Gets by him only to get called back due to a yellow flag. Then uses a backmarker as a pick coming out of turn four to get by the Demon on the last lap. Wow.

I sure we must of been waiting for the national feed to hook up, I can't think of another reason why it took so long to get the main event under way.

Good to see old friends.

More than one fan was upset about the delays. But that"s what happens when you put a bunch of old men together, all we do is bitch, bitch, bitch. They need to get Evelyn up on the front straight to get the show moving. Give her that bullhorn and let her screech at them on the front straight a little.

Better yet, loan her the microphone that Chris Holt is carrying.

yes i agree but it took along time to run less than 50 cars. The great finish more than made up for it in my opinion.

For many of us the commute to the PAS is long. The commute home for The Ventura County fan is about two hours. It is a one hour run for me in the high desert. The more you delay, the later I get home. The PAS is not conveniently located. While I enjoy spending time with fellow sprint car fans, I would be pretty upset if I had brought a new fan to the track to be entertained by dead time.

If you guy's want more "on track time" you can always wait for Sun. to watch NASCAR ! ! They don't have any delays once the race start's. I hope you all enjoy watching that while the rest of us take a nap during that crap. If you think the downtime is too long for you at The PAS why don't you go buy a pitpass on your own dime and go volunteer your time to a team in need and see if the downtime was enough then.

Well in all the previous pr before the race it was stated there was a autograph session before the main. I as well as dozens of other adults and children piled to the fences to go look at the cars and get autographs. I was there with a first time attender to any racing event ever. And she had no complaints about the time. It was not that much longer than other tracks intermissions. Give them a break. Its only been one week.

tell me why it takes 30min from driver intro before they push off,and that was after the crews had the intermission and the lightning main + interviews to get there stuff ready.

I think everyone who was there saw that sprint cars were being pushed onto the front straight as the first main interviews were being done. Scott does a great job announcing the driver and sponser listing's during qualifying but as good as the P/A. system is it is still kind of hard to hear as a race car is at full speed going around the track. There is nothing wrong doing the intro's again before the main while it is quiet and eveyone can hear and applaude the driver's, sponser's, and crew's one more time. The obvious hold up is only having 5-6 push vehicle's to start 22 and sometimes a couple more car's and then again if an unfortunate red flag accure's. That's what take's more time than anything

did i say there was anything wrong with the driver intrs?i don't think so what i said was why does it take nearly 30 min AFTER the intros to push the cars off, after the intro i walk down the front stretch to turn 4 stopping and talking to some of the crew guys on the way then got to my seat and sat there listning to some moron who calls himself a musician screaming over the P/A system.(now I've pissed off the under 50 crowd) and I'm not talking about Scott.
