I wouldn't call it a "great" feature, but it was a good one & i was happy to see Lance win it again for The Posse.

Until lap 25 or so, looked like it was gonna be a Posse sweep of the podium (Lance, Zearfoss & Monteith) Then Zearfoss wrecked & Pittman passed Monteith on the restart

I never saw Schatz finish so far back before....

Overall most of the weekend was follow the leader, but i still had a good time, enjoy the spectacle & had a good time hanging out & BSing with the other fans

It was cold!

I regret not bringing a camera to EMMR... thought I had seen all their stuff already but they had some new exhibits: including some 6 cylinder drag racers,... Jaguar powered slingshot dragster? Modified roadster with an ASTON MARTIN 6???? Going back tomorrow....

The racing sucked both nights, get real. Congratulations to Dewease and the 69k team. They knew exactly what it would take to win, and where to run to win with their set up. Experience can mean everything, that and a front row starting spot which is like most places and races these days. It was plain to see that Zeerfoss has trouble with lapped traffic. Each time they did get in to the lappers he stalled a bit and Lance was all over him each time. Wasn't much doubt of the outcome, really.

No mention of Lance getting in to Zearfoss on the restart which caused him to wreck?

There was some PA hillbilly wearing a t-shirt documenting Gravel spinning Stevie in 2014 with a hashtag of “never forget”.

I suppose we’ll see the same type of t-shirt for this incident as well.... haha

Yes I’m sure you predicted Sweet winning this year, and Jason Johnson in 2016.

I was there. Lance never touched him. Zearfoss said his left front went down. Look at the video. It is obvious that is what happened. Track time on ANY speedway is a big advantage.

Track time exactly, means a lot.  We've been to the Grove on a trip out east for a Nascar race and the Michigan 500 (Indy 500 clone if you know the history of Tony George and his new series fiasco), anyway walked to our seats and looked over at turns 1 and 2, if you want to call them turns 1 and 2, oddest damned thing I ever saw for a race track, that 1-2 end of the track.  Anyone that has not been there and seen it in person can't imagine how tight that end of the track is.  Just call it turn 1 and call 3 and 4 turns 2 and 3.

Greatest thing I ever saw on that trip though was big block modifieds. When they came out on the track we were at, in New York I think, could have been one of the PA tracks we visited too, but thought they were just IMCA mods or B or A Mods, but when they got going, man what a sight, got to be as fast as a late model.  Wicked fast.  Not IMCA mods for sure!!

PS   Thinking of Greg Hodnett often these past few days.  Nice that one of his strongest competitors won and gave him kudos.

I was there too. You're dead wrong about there being no contact.

Contact. Bent LF. LF flat going into 1. Spin in 1. In that order.

Its racing. It happens.

I must need to go to the eye doctor. I see as plain as day lance feed zearfoss a right rear hitting him in the left front almost seems like I can tell something breaks. I'm not a fan of either not from PA so no favorites but that what I saw on woo video

They bumped on the start in turn 4. Nothing that doesn't happen all the time. It's called incindental contact or RACING.

I'm not sure what the WOO re-start rule is but I think the leader is afforded the opportunity to start the race with the rest of the field to follow. Anyway that's what happens with double file re-starts - more wrecks, not to mention guys getting ahead of others just from the restarts, without actually having to legitimately pass them.

I like Brock and I wish he could have won. However, Brock was toast as Lance had the faster car that was getting faster. I don't like the double file restarts either. All kinds of games are played by drivers on starts and restarts to get an advantage. Brock was the loser this time. Nothing I haven't seen 1,000's of times and nothing I won't see 1,000's of times more. Incidental contact or RACING is what you witnessed. Dewease was the leader and was the one to start the race.

He took up ALOT of room to keep the 4 car from beating him to turn one. I used to race I understand, especially for 56 grand

Well we know you're always so intent on checking the lap times, so if anyone would be able to refute or corroborate Pittman's comment, it'd be you....

Well we went from NO contact to very little to incidental?? Brock timed Lances' restart perfectly and if no contact would have been outside lance going into 1. Lance pushed when on the gas then protected the lead pretty simple!!! No ones fault JMO!!!!
