" IT'S A NANCE." That's all he said and I bought it. He was the original owner so I know it's origin. Happy ending. But all my NANCE chassis have not yet achieved a happy ending. So if any of these NANCE chassis sound familiar, please let me know so that they too can have a happy ending. First, a 1987 that received a new front clip and became a downtube in the process. Looks like it was done at the factory and has an A at the end of it's serial number. Next is a 1981 champ car. Believe the frame was originally red and later painted blue. It has side bars on both sides of the cage. One has to wonder how many champ cars were built in 1981. Then there is a 1985 sprint last raced as a purple car. A torque hoop was added, the seat was raised and the rear radius rod adjustable mounts were changed. Someone was proud of Justin and Amanda because their names are still on the side panel. And if you know of someone who purchased a NANCE midrail in the summer or fall of 1989, maybe we could be on the way to our last happy ending. The chassis were from the midwest. " IT'S A NANCE." Yes. But, which one?

Just wonder exactly how many cars Mr. Nance built? Including sprint cars, championship dirt cars and supers.

Paul Dutton had two children killed at 81 Speedway and I think there names were Justin and Amanda??? This would have been early 90's.

The best way to find a cars history-
Build it the way you want it
put your heart and soul into it
Then take it out to various shows------This is where, after several thousands of $ someone will come up and swear on a stack of Bibles that it's their old car, and you NEED to restore it like it was ! LOL
works everytime...................
