As many of you know, I put up a page on facebook called vintagesupermodified. Already I am seeing why it's a good thing-

Yet already I too, am seeing even more why this board needs to stay up. If my vote would have to be for one or the other in terms of survival- I would have to vote for this board. I'll tell you why

Things move so fast over there, and it is hard to find something as quick as I can here. Also, HERE, it's as good as put in stone, right or wrong. It's sorted out much better for the long haul. And the attention to detail has a better chance due to reflection on ones own views.

Sure, the growth has been great over there, but the fire started here. There simply are some things the facebook page will not replace. It is, an information scoop for here. The idea is scary, but it's working so far. Lots of great friends on both. Still, RFTP has the flag on the ship over there. Any blames to give for what happens over there, they go to me.

Makes me dizzy over there but it is great and photos are coming out of the woodwork, attic, basement, under the bed, closet storage buildings and garage etc.

Brian, I have to agree the face-book deal moves way too fast for most, but it has brought out a lot of interest.

Warren, this is the ultimate site for old kids to reunite and walk down Memory Lane, which to me personally is the best thing ever, it keeps us all young with fond memories. I only wish some of those photo's and memories could be translated here on RFTP so we can have, in the words of Paul Harvey....Page Two...the rest of the story.

I used up all the space on this sever years ago. I'm not sure what it would take. Seems like I had more time to build this site when I was driving a truck and home almost every night.

Are the pics I'm copying back to here taking up too much space? I don't know how that works.
