Just a big congratulations to the S.F.R. team and their first Indy Car win at Kentucky this past weekend. Cant tell you how happy i am for her and her whole team. I dont believe she has changed a bit from her sprint car racing days, just a class act and real good person.

Yes, that was great to see. The only bummer about it was when she said that dollar general wasn't going to sponsor them next year. Hopefully she can nail down a new sponsor soon.

So I went to read more about Sarah's win at www.indycar.com and the first thing that pops up is a thing about Danica's pink fingernail polish. Cripes!

Rome wasn't built in a day......but they sure didn't
waste any time burning it down!

Sarah has a marketing background, that will help. Not only is Dollar General leaving Sarah, but they pulled their funding for the Nationwide Series as well.

NAPCAR is rapidly pricing themselves out of much of the business world. They can keep the cameras'off the crowd all they want .... but if you watch closely ..the evidence they try to 'edit' out is there.

Patrick's move to NAPCAR will bring back the days of 'selective rules enforcement' as NAPCAR will try anything to get her in victory lane for publicity.

I can assure you if you put Sarah Fisher and Patrick in ANY type of equally prepared race cars ... Fisher would embarrass Patrick with no problem.

Danica Patrick in a WoO sprint car ???? now THAT would be worth the price of admission (Comedy Central would have a great time filming that one.)

Dollar General is expected to be a limited sponsor on one of Joe Gibbs Racing's Sprint Cup cars and as a primary sponsor in the Nationwide Series.

I personally look hard when I am watching the broadcast to get a glimps of the grandstands. More times than not, nowhere near five or ten years ago.

Oh well, they still have their boy Dale, Jr. and will have their woman Danica.

I'm certainly not surprised that she lost her sponsor, and that it was announced after a win. If you remember, at one time she was voted the most popular driver in the IRL, but she couldn't get a ride!

What a great win for the average joe. Congrats to Sarah and Ed you kicked some big dollar butt last weekend. This sport needed this type of effort big time. Now if they would only get their races back on TV that the common man gets you might get a following back. Keep your head up Sarha and go get some sponsership for next year. You might want to check out the people from Golden Corral. Although I am happy that they helped out Dave & Tommy Baldwin this year the kids have been starving with the kids eat free if we finish in the top ten deal.

Good for Sarah and crew. It wasn't a mileage type race. She had to actually drive to win.

My mistake in my post . Should have referenced it out before I make the remark about her driving. Still good an underfunded/underdog team can win some race.

Once again today, they had a Danica Caution, not called Debris Cautions anymore when she is racing. In one of the best 8 or 9 cars in the field and she just keeps in front of the 20 crap cars, half of which are out after a dozen or fewer laps. She was one car from being the next one a lap down and suddenly a caution with no explanation. At least the 3rd Danica Caution this year.

Poor young guys like Reed Sorenson (released this week from Turner Mtrsprts) and Jason Lefler, told he will not be back next year, can race circles around the older 95 pound 5"0" Patrick. Both were in the top 5 to 7 in points all year. Also, ARCA is full of 21 year-old drivers much better than her, hell, Kevin Swindell damned near wins an ARCA race and have not seen him since. I'd bet the Swindell's bought that ride, but Patrick, well she sells t-shirts, much like Jr.

She left Indy cars cuz she's not even the best female driver there, that young Swiss Miss Semona DeSilvestri(spelling) is already a star on the road/street courses and once she gets to a team with even a little money and new equipment (unlike the slow 3-year-old car she's in which makes her non-competetive on ovals), and some more oval experience, Patrick would have been embarrassed every week, not just the road/street weeks. It's been tough for her to run 15th to 20th during races, not being able to pass hardly a single car.

Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.
