I received an e-mail that Gerald Medlin a former modified driver at the old Tulsa Track in the 60s is in critical condition from a stoke. He is the ICU unit at St. Johns Hospital. His family said that there is paralysis on one side and the next 24 hours are very serious. he was a machinist at the Ford Glass Plant when I worked there. He told me that he helped do the inspection on Norman's cars the first time they came here to race. Please remember Gerald in your prayers. His brother Jerry raced at the new track and has contributed to this site.

I'm asking for your prayers today, as my brother Gerald, has suffered a stroke this morning. He is in the ICU at St. Johns, and we are told that he is in the 24 hr. critical period as to whether he gets better or becomes worse. He currently has some paralysis on the right side, can't speak and isn't recognizing people. They have given him medication to try to dissolve a blood clot in his brain that is the major cause of the problems. have been to the hospital with Mom and Pam, and am going to go back up. I will let all know if there is any change. Thank you ahead of time for your prayers.

Jerry, Pam & Verba Medlin

This is the e-mail I recevied
