I keep up with getting pics of the Suchy cars every chance I get, namely the mid'70s cars.
Been finding a few, in no particular order
Here's the first #13, a Jelly chassis (note the belly pan and no rear braces on the cage), after a rough night.

I think this at the big Tulsa track, the concrete wall but I don't think it was the wreck in turn 4 that ended Benny's driving for a long time. That wreck was just about the same location but it was in the Parsons car with the rear braces on the cage, I am probaly wrong but I know that Benny did not drive for Pat after the bad wreck A lot of drivers hated the Tulsa track becuse of the wall but Harold and the rest were not bothered by it. I saw Harold win a feature inthe Cates Walker car that did not handle well at Tulsa. he was up on the cushion and over it the only time that I ever saw that here. Emmitt said that Harold wanted it more than he did. I know of one out of town driver that almost refused to drive at Tulsa except for the NCRA shows and then he did not do well and ran almost inside the pole, Mike Peters said that was fine he had him beat before the race ever started

This is the car that got Benny out for a while, I think it happen in June 1975.
From what I've picked up, Pat was bothered by Benny getting hurt, so he stayed out it seems ---until Larry Holman needed a hero car owner to clinch the 1975 OkC championship.
This car was being rebuilt and the first #13 was repainted maroonish and numbered 24.

I will send you the program that was printed the week after Benny's bad wreck. It was the whole sequence of the wreck. I don not know if it is clear enough to post. The last Friday in August of 1975 we went to Muskogee to race and Harold was there to drive his first race for Pat. He waited at our car until Pat drove up. This was probably the Parson car I think it was still number 13. He and Jelly had a weird partnership with the new orange 24, the next week at the Enid race Harold was still in the Suchy car and Jay Woodside was in the Orange 24 Jelly car. The following week at Wichita Harold won the NCRA feature in the orange Jelly car. At the Enid NCRA race in October Harold was driving the 24 Suchy car that Larry Holman had been driving, Jelly had taken his 24 to the Western World Nationals at Phoenix for Larry Dickson to drive with the Sprint cars. They had a fuel system problem and did not do well. Jay was out of ride for Enid, he was going to drive Norman's 117 with Jerry Wilson's engine in it but the Ford V-8 that Norman put in the 71 for Mike had problems and he had to put Jerry's engine in the 71 for Mike.

That #4 is waiting for it's new body , someday. The chassis and everything else is done
Joe Wood (sr/jr) worked with someone who had this #76, and I think they backed it into a wall in OkC , in the late 80's from what I heard.
This was the second #76 of this bodystyle, a Parson too. David Grace had a lot to do with building it.
Most likely the last Parson put together new, since Dale had sold out to Smiley Sitton in DFW.

Yes same address. And I need to get that DVD to you.
I still need to get the scanner hooked up. I have those 3 magazines you sent, need to get the Nance catalog on, and the Enid programs(from Sam Seager) in as well.
