Everywhere I've been , it's a popular win for sure. With exception to the chevy, dodge, and toy*&@ executives, I can think of no one that was against the 500 turning out like this!
And in the same colors and number Pearson drove it too.

Ya had to have a dance partner or you would go nowhere , 2 X 2 X 2 X 2 , anything else in the numbers and ya was headed to the back it seemed.
I heard a lot of talk last night on Sirius Nascar Radio that with the Bayne kid being a Rookie and not much seat time on the track at Daytona and inexperience and so on was what really helped him win the 500, seems like I heard that a bunch last night, had no bad habits to break and you could see bad habits getting the veterans in trouble throughout the race in one form or another.
But in the end like all racers need that thing called LUCK and that is the most important thing.
Who ya gotta feel for is the Ragan kid, leading with 1 to go, so close to the top prize and one mistake and you go from hero to zero, that one will haunt him for a while.
Nothing like Racing is there???, make ya "King of Kings" one week and "The Goat" the next week. Gotta love it!!!. J.D.

I've seen Trevor Bayne run Nationwide at IA Speedway the past couple years and thought he did a good job. The fact is, he drove FLAWLESSLY all week at Daytona showing great maturity when he needed to. Aside from that, he had a fast car and didn't waste it.
I could not possibly be happier for the Woods Bros. Had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Woods (the old ones) at Michigan several years ago. Real "salt of the earth" folks with some of the funniest stories you ever heard.

I have to say being a old school race fan that is dead in the heart of Dixie and eaten more than my fair share of NASCAR rubber.... That was the shot in the arm that NASCAR needed. Best of the old (Wood Brothers)... Best of the new (Trevor).... And he didn't cry in victory lane... I love this kid!
