They want to leave some room for customization in certain areas. The visual, the diversity of the supermodified breed has an advantage no other open wheel has ever had.
Worked right, this could be a huge thing in 5 years. And maybe open up the door just a little more for guys like us.

Wishbones on the rear, Nance/Edmunds influenced styling. Most likely a 5/8s scale compared to ours.
Coil-overs I'm sure, and a motorcycle engine for go.
