Upper Midwest Series on the schedule, but the Southern Series regs dont run the Minnesota/South Dakota tracks. Hope we can get at least a few of them here for this. Gustin would be bad azz at Clinton!

Gustin is 3rd in USMTS upper midwest region points, so unfortunately, I doubt he will be there. Jason Hughes, Morgan Bagley, Randy Timms, and Tommy Weder dont seem to be running that region though, maybe they will be here.

seen gustin run at clinton earlier this year with USMTS and wasnt in top 5. Dont get me wrong, I like him too but the kid cant win every night...

Sparta, Tennessee (06/24/10) – As the COMP Cams SMP Series Presented By Racing Head Service 2010 Sooner Speedweek set for July 12th-17th, 2010 draws closer, sponsors continue to flood in for the week long extravaganza.

Ora’s Engines, based in Colcord, Oklahoma, has signed on to sponsor a nightly hard charger award as well as a nightly feature winner award. Each night the Hard Charger in the main event will receive a $150 Ora’s Engines product certificate for labor on motor work. The feature winner will receive a $200 Ora’s Engines product certificate for labor on motor work. In addition, Ora’s Engines will be the official sponsor of victory lane each night. MRW Wheels, based in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, has joined partners with the COMP Cams SMP tour to provide a $50 gift certificate toward the purchase of a new wheel to the nightly fast qualifier. The 2010 Sooner Speedweek will consist of six straight night’s of racing, July 12th-17th, 2010 with each event paying $1,500 to win and $125 to start.

I haven't heard what the support classes are at the various tracks. I was hoping someone from each track would make a post here about that. I wanted to be at most of these but it looks like Mid-America and possibly one other one is all I make thanks to that Houston rain-out last week.

I'd like to get to at least Brill and Thunderbird but Muskogee to Houston for Thursday is pretty tough...

The scheduled Monday race at Clinton flooded out but....

We are a GO for Meeker, Oklahoma THIS TUESDAY! That's about 2 hours closer to Missouri anyway!!!

Forecast from weather.com:

Tuesday (Meeker): Mostly Sunny, only 20% chance!

Wednesday (Muskogee): Sunny, 0% chance as in NO chance!

Thursday (Kellyville): Partly Cloudy, only 20% chance!

Friday (Caney, KS): Isolated showers, only 30% chance!
