Could this family have earned this title?? I noticed 5 Jennings in the Oklahoma Fairgrounds Speedway results Friday 5-23-09. Earnest, Bruce, Danny, Brandon and Lee Jennings. Not sure if this is in order of age but I gave it my best shot. I wonder if there is a record for family members racing on the same track during a racing program? Not necessarily in the same race. Maybe this in the same race has happened to the Jennings???
Here in Kansas we had the the Lutkie's, Charlie, Steve, Tom, Larry. I think I have forgot one? Add to that if I forgot one. I'm not so sure Charlie hadn't retired so they probably didn't not race together??
We also had the Dauer's. Father (the late) LeRoy, sons Ron, Rick, and Bob. Many many nights they were in the same A feature and many times one would win. Heck there could have been nights when there was a 1,2,3,4 finish???
I know there are other families, but 5 in one racing program. How about it, add some families you can think of.

If the record was set at 5 somewhere else, Rickey would come out and help to break it and put it back to the Jennings family. So, that's really 5 drivers and a spare! LOL

One thing about Darrell Jennings Walker Chassis 801, it was one of the best looking supers around. If did win best looking, it should have.

Five in one race night is pretty impressive. But to tell the true story, you've got to look back at the whole picture.
To begin, you had four brothers competing. Earnest Lee, John, Darrell and Donald.
Second generation. Bruce, Rickey, Darrell Ray and son-in-laws Danny Wood and John Wullich.
Third generation. Danny, Brandon and Lee. Thats twelve I know of.
And if you want, you can count John's wife Daveline. She was good enough in John's car in the powder puff races at the old Norman/Goldsby Speedway that if they would have let her, she could have beaten half the men in the field.
Now, can any family top that?

They not Oklahoma based. But here at WSS we have up to 6 family members that race up here at West Siloam. The Foster's.I believe we have had them all here at the same time twice. Most of the time there is 4 that consistently show up.Last year 4 of them ran in the 360 Modifieds. It made it kind of humorous being the announcer.Going Foster in first, second, third and fourth at different times.Lucky for me one moved up to A Modifieds.lol
