Yes sir it can be done.
I think if there were pre-bent,pre-notched, unwelded, tubing kits available---things would move along a lot smoother. Pre-marked for where the pieces go would be even better.
Edmunds sold a lot of kits that way.

Matter of fact, I could have sold 2 kits like this, this past week. The Nance style is making noise these days.

I got the plans for the Nance frame from the late 60's early 70's. I will have to look to see what the dates are. A viewer sent them to me and I'm sure that is why he sent them, for someone to use.

Money on the table, tubing availability, 5 partners could have them done. There are builders that would like to do them.
Right now the hunt is on for a top like the Nance.They are different than an Edmunds, they bulge more.
