How cool would it be to have a long time chiassis builder that built cars from the 60's to the present build a old spring front from the original fixtures? This is the real deal , A true dream come true.
This builder has had many many winning cars and drivers, This builder is world known and did just this for my buddy. He has built a 1970/2008 spring front . This is amazing . I will post a few pics soon and let you all try to guess what kind of chassis it is before i spill the beans.

These pics came in a little small. You should be able to hold down your "Ctrl" button and scroll them larger

And who is the mystery builder?
Looks like they are using a Hunt seat. He just started selling on eBay.

GOOD EYE it is a Hunt seat direct from Hunt himself. The chassis builer built the axle and the hairpin radius rods just like the old days. Still waiting for guess on the chassis builders name just to see if anyone can guess him.

From Iowa and eastern Iowa, my guess would be Leonard McCarl. If not my other guess has already restored a few cars and it has to be him. I'm sure someone will figure him out if this is wrong.

If they could build it then, we can build it now. I built these three cars in the last three years.
I love any race car whose last name is "Special"
