I'm sure glad that Tony, and the Alexanders were able to finally break through last night. It was a great main event. I'm surprised that none of you have mentioned Hansen's demolition derby tactics last night. It's time that USAC finally did something and penalized Hansen for being such a sore loser.

Tony passed Hansen down the back stretch and Hansen plowed right back into Tony. Luckily Tony held on
without crashing. Should be an interesting video.

Here's a question for you bonehead. When does a sprint car driver - any sprint car driver - slam on his brakes with a clear run in front of him? Answer me that you little goof.

well lets see here with all the problems those two have had before and he seen him jump the cush then half way down the back stretch got out of the gas or hit the brakes its not rocket science to see it in the video i kno how much motor the 4 car has and there is no way in hell hansen got that good of a run comming of the corner after a bobble like that so you do the math

Why must you resort to name calling? Oh, I get it, your not intelligent enough to put together a coherent thought into a complete sentence so you just get frustrated and call people names. Yes, Tony was a little over zealous with his slide job, but at least it was a racing move. Hansen, on the other hand, appeared to be angry that he was passed, so he just decided to run into Tony and attempt to take him out. You can't twist this one bonehead, it is clearly and painfully obvious what Hansen's intentions were when he ran into Tony.

Dunno. Looked to me like tony Jones jumped in front of Hansen and lost speed for some reason... didnt look like Hansen drove over top of him maliciously. Maybe Tony was sliding up or something and got off the gas to get pointed straight and he had barely cleared Hansen at the time.

Exactly what happened was: Hansen jumped the cushion in turn 2, Jones got by him on the inside of turn 2, Jones brake checked Hansen on the back straight, with Jones almost at a dead stop, Hansen had no choice but to go over Jones' wheels, Jones failed and couldn't take him out.

First off KK, nice run the other night, you did good! Second, you know you guys ran a special event. As you well know, there are many 360 'special shows' that can pay more than a 'standard' 410 show and out draw them too. I know you know this too so quit playing dumb. LOL wink

I know why you asked the question. wink Many are asking "What's wrong at the PAS? " The low car counts can be attributed to a few factors:

1) The economy. Some car owners are just strapped for cash when they have business and personal expenses to tend to.

2) Cost of Fuel. With rigs getting 4-5 mpg, some teams just don't travel as they once did.

3) Oh gosh do I dare say this?........USAC. You regs on this board already have heard me sing this song before. The fact remains that there are still car owners that still either limit their participation or sit out all together as long as USAC is running the show. For those that were at that initial meeting at the Elks Club in Downey in Jan. 2004, remember the grand marketing job they said they would do for the west coast series? They started out doing stuff, then once they had the competition out of business guess what? NOW THEY DON'T DO SQUAT!

I think the PAS just might have to make support classes a standard deal frown. Otherwise, where else are they going to recoup the pit gate $$$$ that the sprints aren't bringing in?

Question for ya Mr. Kierce is that $3000.00 to win every week at Ventura or was it because it was the grand slam series ? I'm not sure what the VRA or Bandit series payouts are ? Just so you know I mean no disrespect to you just asking a question.

I'm glad that Ventura had a great car count . It seems that USAC and Perris are suffering with the lack of car's for what ever the reason may be. Its just some people love there 410 sprints . I myself dont give a crap what the engine size is 360 , 410 If it's a sprint car I will support it. I will even be a Ventura next weekend to support a few friend that will be racing that night.
