Harold Leep, Jr. was born on October 9, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas. He died on May 30, 2008. He was 55 years old. He is survived by his wife Alice, two sons Jeff and Maggie Leep and Lloyd and Heather Leep. He is also survived by his four grandkids Harlie and Reese Leep, Trey Leep and Alissa Hinshan. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is also survived by his father Harold Leep Sr. of Muskogee, OK. He enjoyed sprint car racing, lettering signs, and spending time with his grandchildren. Few words cannot express the greatness of a man and all he has done for people and lives he has touched. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and were around him. A Memorial Service will be held at the State Fair Speedway on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 7:00 PM. The family requests that flowers be sent to 2722 Winston Rd., OKC, OK 73120 or make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Harold was a tough competitor and just a great person, lettered my 100" and Sprint Car many a time. Talked to Alice Friday night at the races and she was doing good as possible, was glad to see Jeff race and it is what Harold would have wanted and the missing man formation was really fitting in the Champ Sprint and Super Sprint A mains and also Jeff winning his heat and getting a standing ovation was pretty cool as well as placing stickers on the cars in rememberance. Got to talk to Jeff after the show in the pay line and he is doing as good as possible.
If you all have not heard his ceremony will be Tuesday at 7pm at State Fair Speedway in OKC.
