Are the Toyota engines further behind than most initially thought? The Reutzel 8 car showed promise 1 night at Volusia but since has been plagued by DNFs and going backwards. Curious if it's an engine issue or team issue? Will be interesting to see Madsen's 83 results against the Outlaws in the coming weeks with TRD power

As we've seen with the Ford, it's not necessarily the power, it's hooking that power up to the track, especially when it slicks off.

Isn't Lucas Wolfe the third team, along with Reutzel and Madsen to run a Toyota 410 in 2022. I thought I had read that somewhere, but I am not positive. Does anyone know for sure?

Noticed when Reutael did his running the left side was always laying down smoke..It might be a good motor but you've got to be able to make it last and get power to the wheels and control the car..Still lots of work ahead to be done..

Yes. Reutzel & Wolfe getting TRD engines from Rider. Madsen getting TRDs from Speedway. Believe Wolfe is second fiddle in the Rider camp

When you say "getting" engines do you mean they are being supplied free of charge as part of R snd D? Or do you mean the teams have chosen to use Toyota and the specific shop is being used as their preferred builder/ rebuilder?
