Is it mathematically possible for Sweet to lose his lead if he simply shows up to race?
Logan is 46 back and Donny is 64 back. Sheldon. is 128 back. Who still could win the title?
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

2pts per position except between1st & 2nd which has 4pts separating it. So Sweet has to do more than simply just show up as 2 x 24 starting spots (aside from potenital provisional starters) = 48pts. I believe math wise only Sweet, Schuchart, and Schatz still have a shot at winning.
Personally I think and I am hoping that Sweet wins. Feel he deserves it from a performance standpoint, just has had a lot of wierd things beyond his control happen. While mechanical failures happen to everyone, to have a tire cut while running second at Terre Haute then hit by a wrecking car, running away with his heat at Attica to have an engine let go then get hit by a car going the wrong way while moving up in the feature, then a car spins directly infront of him at Knoxville and has no where to go, and then last week another engine starts to blow while in the top 5. It hasn't been an issue from a driver's side as it seems at the time of these incidents he was running in the top 5 or moving up through the field.

I think its Sweet's to lose..If he has mechanical or accident and can't start either feature friday especially and Schuchart wins it will be close, otherwise its Sweets to lose..He's just that good..I think Schatz is just a little too far behind but on a big track that Ford will hummmm.

Sweet has had more DNFs and mechanical issues than any champion i can remember. Schatz having a bad year for him and Larson not running the whole tour allowed him to overcome what's been a relatively mediocre summer and fall.

Did some quick math and had Larson ran the full tour and finished an average of 9th place in the 27 races he didn't run, he'd be leading the points going into this weekend.
