According to Donny's dash interview, it is in at the Grove. I'm suspect of it given the points chase he's in, but just reporting what the driver himself said.

Somebody on one of the other threads reported seeing "funny looking" headers on Donny's car, so someone has actually seen it too. Looks like it runs pretty good.

Maybe before answering “nope” one should check sources. Schatz said on their own social media during the day the Ford would be between the rails at the Grove. Then pics all over Social Media with pics of evenly spaced exhaust ports on the 15 at the Grove. Then In interviews following the race Donny talked about it being in.

One gutsy move by the 15 Team !
Maybe that stealthy white test car at Knoxville was a prelude to this?

Yes, excellent results for a new combination on one of the toughest competition races of the year.

As the feature got to around lap 18 Schatz was getting slower instead of getting faster.....just saying.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!

I commend the 15 team for putting the Ford based engine in their car as they have displayed the Ford logo and sponsorship that goes with it.This could cost them the WOO championship. If it proves to be a superior piece the cost of racing will rise.It took the Chevy based engine 40+ years to get to the level it is today. I know a National winning co car owner in 1975.that told me about when they started they bought brand new Fuely Corvette long blocks with warranty from local Chevy dealer and ran them and if they blew they would get a new one but of course that didnt last long.We all know not one part is Chevy or Ford just design.Chevy ,Ford, and Dodge all offer close to 1000 H .P.engines in their car and SUV line but they wouldnt live. The Crate motor is common and somewhat affordable in local stock car racing and they seem to live.

If Schatz doesnt win the Championship I think it will be the magnetic problem (edit.. magneto) last weekend that created the insurmountable points spread and not the Ford motor in the last few races.
That 18th spot may bury him. But who knows the future.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Schatz cut Brad Sweet's point lead down to 26 last night... I never thought they'd switch in a points battle... It's far from over.... Sweet lost 14 in one race...

I missed the maple syrup joke but I'm from western Canada not eastern! Think about that for a while... Canola oil would fit better.
Sure Sweet lost 14 last night and after Schatz lost 36 or so last weekend I thought it was gonna take a dnf or similar to make the race tight again.
Magnetic / magneto, spell checker.lol

And with 9 races left after tonight (don’t know how the National open is gonna turn out yet) if either of them really screw up and Gravel keeps on doing what he has been they will both get beaten.

Since 15 put the Ford in the car he has gained about 28 points on the 49. Just saying.
