Overall an epic week. They really turned it into more than just sprint car racing. A little cheesy at times but that's just me. Eldora is special no matter what. But I cant get over that last restart. I dont know if it stumbled or if Logan just f*%ked it up, but it cost him. Cost him a crown and175k because had the car. Thing was a rocketship all week . And if he keeps the lead in clean air that thing is over. No way Brad catches him unless he steps on it. But a great result nonetheless. Schatz going backwards??? I think it's a sign of things to come. We'll see what Knoxville brings. Cannot wait till August.

Schuchart had trouble with his motor taking off.
It's 100 degrees out. Worst air of the season this weekend.

Hopefully he’s back sooner than that. Let’s not wish away these next couple weeks, we got some big races before Knoxville, starting on Tuesday

Great racing in the features all 4 nights. Time trails laps in the very low 13 second bracket each night. Heats so so until Saturday night.....guys actually having to fight to get there starting position. Instead of the luck of the draw. Track was perfect for each feature. Great job track crew with how hot it was. Drivers were either full throtle or they would be going backwards and I forgot to mention about the slidejobs. The only word I can think of is AWESOME!
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Folks, did you all see what an inversion does to Heats, they actually race! None of this BS fast car to the front zero inversion and watch the hot lap session coz' you know it's coming. With the inversion last night all the fast cars ended up where they were supposed to be and we got to see some actual heat racing . USAC inverts 6 every night and it is easily the most exciting form of Heat racing in motor sports, time to get with the program Outlaws, enough of this boring crap. Friday night had all 12 race winners come from the front row and I think about 7 cars that came second also started on the front row, ENOUGH.....

I hate the stupid ass dashes they had and wish they would do away with dashes alltogether and just invert
from now on. Outlaws could not take it though and had to throw in that stupid joust to replace that they were not having a dash.
3 drivers in the joust said they were worried they were going to hurt there cars and would not have enough time to fix them for the heats, just please rid the dumbass dashes

Great for winner. The payout for B main and C main is not enough for a big event.. Look at Jackson National and how well paid B and C cars. Sure Jackson never paid 175 to win. To me Tony should have paid 150 to win and put other 25 in B and C cars.

Don't see where Jackson ran a C.The B payout does look better but Tony also had to pay out more cars and paid better in the top half of the feature than Jackson did.

And the 35th fastest in time trials started on the pole. That format is stupid and if it weren’t for Eldora being a racy track, you’d see ridiculous results like that all the time. Not sustainable over an 80 race season.

62 cars at Eldora, 42 cars at Jackson.
I think for all the good it’s done in terms of car count at Jackson, Quiring would have been better off putting a 75-100k winners share rather than put all the money in the B.

Ever hear of the Knoxville Nationals? They invert 8 and Wed. and Thurs. might be the two best nights of racing all year long, by the way that's a 40 burger. So don't tell me inverting isn't a good thing, you know better. I'm not only old school, I'm old and I remember the invert days. Now you pay your $35 or more for a feature and that's about it, no thanks....

I'm fine with the Kings Royal format since it's a special event and it's been the same for years. As for the rest of the races, I like the Outlaws format. To me just because there is passing doesn't necessarily mean a competitive race. If someone blows by another driver as if they are a lap car doesn't equal a good race. 2 guys going at it like Sweet and Schatz on Thursday to me is better than someone going by 3 guys that are a lot slower than him.
I get to some the optics make you think that it's a good race, but I would like to have the best cars going at it for position. Plus every spot gained is good for 4 starting spots so it's not like there isn't incentives. Best example I can give is the Jackson Nationals. Great race for 40 laps but not 1 lead change, however it was a competitive race all 40 laps for the lead. I'd much rather have that than continuously inversions all year.

Would have moved to see him win it, for his resume, his teams heard work and a little cash to out into the program.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

While some people are making it seem like this is the beginning of the end for Schatz... I think Sweet has just risen to his level. Schatz was still untouchable 2 of the 4 nights at Eldora and has now won 3 of the last 5 points races. Sweet's point lead now only 20 pts. Regardless its an excting time to be a WoO fan.
