If the weather report stays good for this weekend, gonna try to make it down to the Grove to see Outlaws vs. Posse again.

But it doesn't seem the same without Greg Hodnett.... last year's National Open was cool cause Lance won, but it didn't feel to me like all the electricity was there as in years past. Anybody else get that vibe? (or lack of vibe?)

Maybe because it feels like we only 1 car at the Grove capable of beating the WOO while in other years there were many. We'll definitely be missing Greg even more with the WOO in town. He was always a top contender to keep the $$$ in PA.

Dietrich, Rahmer, Lance all have shots.

Lets face it, the front row at the Grove is basically going to have the winner 80% of WoO races so the dash draw means a ton.

In case any of you have not seen it, check out Kyle Larsons twitter feed. He was trolling people by taking shots at the Possee, as him, Detreich, and Dewease were going at it pretty good. Too funny.

Thats kind of how I feel too, although DSC 1600 has a point. I give Freddie Jr. a better shot than DD

But who knows? Thats why they have to run the race....

Looking forward to the next 4 or 5 races with some posse versus outlaws . I'll guess WoO 4 to 1 posse

Shows what happens when you miss qualifying. At least he didn't end up in the C like Freddie Jr. Lulz.

You can hear someone yell, go to knoxville, while DeWease is being interviewed.

What a waste of money last night, garbage racing. Track was garbage and everyone could have gone home after the dash draw, knowing the winner, when Dewease pulled #1. Too bad there weren't a few more laps for Smith to fly by the 69K.

In your opinion, what is a better way? Just curious. Serious Question.

As per usual Strawser, you comment on a race from the comfort of your couch.  I was there, the racing sucked, the track was crap and there was little passing except for Smith and Stewart.  Of course among those passed by the #5 were about four or five cars that got in minor accidents and went to the back soooooo.  Smith was the only one making the high side work at both ends of the track, where pretty much no one else could.  So yeah, watching Dewease slot car it around the bottom sucked, as it usually does.  Most of the night it was a one groove track and if you went out of that groove you were screwed.  The feature had about a lane and a half that you could run but that went away eventually.  And Lincoln has NOT been the best surface in Pa all year. You are only saying that because you constantly bash the other track, which you never go to anyway, lol.  Pretty much week in and week out, the track that you constantly bash, has drivers raving over it. But as usual, you know better, even though you never go, lol

Kind of agree on the track. Locked down during heats and then got very slick outside of the bottom in the A.

If Gravel could have held the bottom better, it'd be hard for anyone (even the 69K) to pass him. Unfortunately he missed it in a big way a few times and was hung out to dry.
