Not being smart, but how many other drivers have as many wins as he does on their hometown tracks?  Not many I would guess.  His record is also pretty impressive at the Front Row Challenge at Oskaloosa.

Are meaning WoO wins on their home tracks or wins in general on their home tracks?

Wins in general: Mark Dobmeier has a bazillion wins at Grand Forks and Husets. Terry McCarl own the record book at Husets and maybe at Knoxville as well.

Don was on Winged Nation today.   He said the 69K will race against the Outlaws at Knoxville on June 14-15.

Wow! Sweet, testing the waters for the Nats I assume. Hope the box truck is able to make the tow.

I meant outlaw wins on their home tracks.  Was just saying not many drivers have won as many Outlaw shows as he has even on their home turf.

You are 100% right. I wish it didn't get to me but it does. Mainly due to the fact that if they go to Knoxville and finish 2 spots from transferring out of the B, that's still a solid showing for Knoxville yet the naysayers will bash the team instead of the chest thumping morons who bragged them up in the first place with outlandish "expectations." I really wish I was as chill as you are Rev. Maybe I'll calm down with age lol.

A) I love it when people agree with me! :)

B) " I really wish I was as chill as you are Rev"... thats funny! I've only been around sprint cars 10 yrs. now, haven't had time to get too opinionated or hot headed. Plus even tho I'm a Posse fan, I'm not from Pa. & don't take it personally. You should see me on some other discussion groups on different topics, I can be the bad guy everybody loves to hate.... ;)

Mechanicsburg to Bridgeport Speedway is a two hour drive according to my phone's map program. Where are all the cars I saw on Friday and Saturday night?

Big props to the cars I do see that made the trip. Go get em Danny D. Watching dash draw right now. Hope he pulls a good number after setting the track record on this new configuration.

Most of those cars are home in the shop.  Many of the Pa teams are mom and pop operations or hobbist operations.  Can't afford to run more than 1-2 times a week.  The tire bill alone has most of those teams running in the red most weeks not to mention wear and tear on the motor, fuel for the hauler etc.  It's not a cheap deal and those that can travel like Danny and the Outlaws are getting fewer and farther between.

Oh and you must have brought some good luck with you for Danny tonight.

It seems that the All Stars have no problem driving a few hours to join the WoO when they can but seldom do you see  a WoO regular anywhere but a WoO sanctioned event even if they are rained out and close by. Why is that?

I suspect most of it is the purse, why year stuff up for half the prize money and I get that but 2/3s of the WoO regulars have a far better chance getting 1st at an All Star show than 2nd at a WoO event.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I'd say a number of factors, including some that you have mentioned here, but there is also a contractual obligation between WoO drivers and the WoO that require drivers to request permission to race non-WoO sanctioned tracks if they want to maintain their status with WoO that provides several benefits (tow money and provisionals I believe).

They can get penalized financially if they race at an unsanctioned event without permission. A few years back Jason Sides got screwed out of a bunch of $$$ at the end of the season for that. It was a big issue on HH, lots of us bought Jason T-shirts to support him
