I think Port has a lot to lose if their playing chicken because if this thing doesn't take off what are they left with? The Woo isn't in any hurry to get Lernerville back.

The high limit show at lernerville was well attended, lernerville is the ones in no hurry,  if they keep drawing the cars and fans you won't see the outlaws there any time soon.

Agreed but remember it was a few years that the Don Martin race was All Star sanctioned and the crowds weren't close to the Woo crowds. The momentum seems to be on the Hi Limit side right now but if this doesn't work out and it dies like the other attempts what's lernerville have then.

Don't forget that HL drivers can race around when ever there not running HL.

So you will see these guys at some WOO shows just like Rico and Peck ect were doing last year.

It will be really exciting when they do run WOO and take the money from the WOO guys haha

Can we assume it will be a cold day in hell before Sweet runs a WoO show other than the Nationals or Eldora?

Maybe I just appreciate to still be able to see ONE of the greatest of all time I didn't say he was the greatest. He did get a 360 feature I believe so he's still competive. Why run him down if he's still doing what he loves?

That's a BIG point! Less races - all of which are high paying, plus they can run wherever they want on their off days. As a fan I'd rather see that than paying more money in ticket prices so the club can pay their platinum members big money just for showing up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm super pissed the Outlaws aren't coming to Port in 2024.  It seems they put all their eggs in the High Limit  basket, and I think that was a bad choice.

Not really. The high limit roster is shaping up to be just as good, if not better than the WOO. The place was pretty empty for last years October dates. It was packed for the first couple years but then the novelty wore off. October racing in PA is a tough draw. Sure it would be great to have both but WOO wants to play hardball.

Schatz stays with the WoO for 2024.

Donny Schatz has what it takes to survive the long, grueling, ridiculous WoO schedule.

The WoO schedule must not be too long, grueling, or ridiculous, with all these drivers wanting to race more, more and more. That 86+(4) race schedule just isn't enough for some.

Not to mention that these drivers signing on with High Limit always could have joined the WoO tour but they didn't.  Some may hit a wall and drop off just like they do with the Outlaws.  Fields are split but the price to get into a race is the same.  I'm not sure how that will sit with fans once it gets going and we can actually see some races from both series.

It's a great year to concentrate on the IRA, Husets and Knoxville weekly shows and see what shakes out of this mess by next October.

I would say that Port Royal made the right decision for 2024 and in the future. High Limit will be around for quite sometime and things will only get better. Take it to the Bank!

Considering Balog's experience compared to Crawley's lack of sure right now he should get it but there's a few more names not commited to anything yet namely Courtney.

What are odds of either series having five drivers run all their races. HL had what, 26 or so committed to a 12 race schedule last year and 5 or 6 six ran all of the races. Alot of this is going to come down to where they are in points about July or August when the big money races start.

If your 15th in points your not going to make any money in the big money races.
