Remember when Brad Sweet said High Limit wasn't looking to compete with Outlaws?

Remember the details that he was at Outlaw races last year trying to persuade drivers (And I presume officials) to go to High Limit full time?

Classy Individual

If I was starting my own business and my co-workers/colleagues had experience/skills I could use to help run my business, you're damn right I'd be asking if they were interested in leaving.

Everybody talks. If I took the temperature of the room, so to speak, and people seemed to be unhappy about certain things and I felt my new venture might remedy some of those things, again, I'd see if they were interested in leaving amd joining me.

Same thing happens in college football. Coach/recruiter leaves a program and very quickly some players hit the transfer portal or incoming freshmen decommit and follow him elsewhere.

It's not personal, it's business.

Macedo will probably stay WOO but He is best non commited driver and Schatz would be big for hl but wont happen.I personally dont see any difference in the big races as Knoxville Eldora and Hussets will see Rico Sweet Kyle if possible  The All Stars are no more but the HL took their place with higher paying mid week shows.A lot about nothing just will have new WOO champion. Flo racing versus Dirt Vision is more the story. The WOO will not be affected and have great name recognition and if you can stand the traveling hard to com

pete with their support of their commited drivers

No surprise that Rico comitted to High Limits. They really needed him for Star Power. Without him, the series was lacking in the races when Kyle was not there. It will be interesting to see how he does running a national series full time for the first time in his career.?

The big question remaining is Tyler Courtney, right?

I'm assuming Schatz will stay with Outlaws, but what do I know?

Something crossed my mind.... Sammy is still racing occasionally, & sometimes wins (Usually 360s)

He should take a shot at some of these HL races..... he'd be a good draw & you never know whats gonna happen.... ;)

Why do you say that? All the WoO fans are saying HL will be a watered down series with only 2 or 3 fast guys. ;)

I don't understand why any team is making an announcement of committing to anything that doesn't require commitment.
Daily non special purses are pretty similar. For those who don't have a legit chance against the WoO can race for WoO sized purses against car more equal to their own. This has to be good for many.

There must be some loyalty from guys like Bill Rose to the WoO. The WoO must have treated him well for many years or why wouldn't he step away from that series for similar prize money against less successful teams? Perks might be that reason.

I don't think it would take much for a track to offer huge money the night of a HL race and successfully draw many away from the HL.

Why wouldn't  the HL keep the recognizable name of the Ascoc and take it nationally. That name has value but they stick with HL??? Head scratcher. Arrogance?? Dunno.

I predict a short lived series simply because when the WoO come to town I know a dozen good cars will arrive.

I agree, the All Stars name had recognition but I guess they wanted thier own name which is fine. After the schedule release it made sense to me why they went with High Limit; because they limited how high they are traveling up in the upper midwest! Not a race in ND, SD, MN or WI. Only a couple in IA.

what a weird to say that... the value that comes with just the name of schatz is extremely significant. is he the top driver in the nation? I would say probably not but he is still certainly a top five driver even at this point of his career. From a drawing aspect, outside of say maybe kyle larson, I would say he still draws more fans than the rest of either side including sweet. However, that's just my opinion.

You're probably right, but I'd pay to find out

A few years ago I saw Steve Kinser's last race, upstate NY Allstars

Sammy won!

I'm guessing they both got appearance $$$

He'd bring butts to seats, dontcha think?

He definitely would. Anytime I get an opportunity to still see one of the greatest of all time is fantastic whether he's past his prime or not.

Weird and unnecessary. And if Donny has a good season next year the guy waving pom poms for two national series' will be the first to point out he's doing it against lesser competition.

Lesser meaning just no Sweet?   Rico never ran an Outlaw schedule.  And none of the rest of the HL announcements have been top 5 players.  Now if Macedo jumps that would take a big bite out of the Outlaws.

Wonder how much signing bonus $$$ are being tossed around behind the scenes?

I have no doubt something is in play here to counteract the Platinum incentives to jump over.

Spot on...without Rico, High Limits has only Larson and Sweet as drawing cards. Rico was the key as far as star power. I am sure he was assured a "sweet deal" to sign on for the full season. This is a cut throat war between Flo and Dirtvision, no matter which series you want to see succeed.

Don't forget that HL drivers can race around when ever there not running HL.

So you will see these guys at some WOO shows just like Rico and Peck ect were doing last year.

It will be really exciting when they do run WOO and take the money from the WOO guys haha

Everything isn't played out yet but they just got Day and I honestly don't believe it's lesser competition but I bet the Donny haters will.
