Gotta love it...
“They make millions of dollars and then they come here to run over people,” said Sammy Swindell. “You’ve got them guys running over you under yellows and running into you and I just got tired of it. I started doing the same thing. If you’re going to dish it out, you need to suck it up. If they can run over me, then I can run over them better.
“I didn’t appreciate (Larson) running into me after the race and he said I shouldn’t run into his teammates. Well, if he’s going to run up to me because I hit one of his teammates, then he better be prepared to talk to me after the race, one on one if he’s man enough to do that.”
And as far as being old… Swindell had a response for that too.
“I’ll be back,” said Swindell of the Chili Bowl. “I’ll be 60. I bet none of them kids will be back when they’re 60. I bet they won’t be back in their 50s. They’ll be out of business.”

I watched it live and all I can say is it looked like Larson kept spinning out by himself? Didn't catch this deal with Sammy.
Hats off to Abreu. Awesome story. Danica is not going to be the only media darling in NASCAR anymore. Abreu is surely going to kick her ass on and off the track. And he might actually win some races. Plus he almost fits on the side of a wheaties box as it is. Men, women and kids are going to love him. And with good reason.

I like Larson and I really like having a dirt dude like him NASCAR, but as far as the Chili Bowl is concerned... let's be honest, he was just in a bad mood because he kept spinning out by himself with no one touching him

I find it funny that whenever another "Sammy is a douchbag" comment (there has been plenty) gets posted, the only response is "but he is a very good and has accomplished more than most".
Is that all that matters is winning? Is the fact that he is a douchbag (at least at the racetrack, maybe a nice guy away from work, don't know) just a given anymore and the only thing that matters is his record?
