Why didn't the Midwest Mafia win? More importantly, who ever dreamed up a name like Midwest Mafia?

If you noticed the format. Whereas your PA boy ----- oops I'm sorry he is from Maryland ( go figure) won the race.............he came 8th in total points (unofficial). Maybe ya'll see it differently but I have to say: the format for this is all screwed up. They inverted the top 6 spots at the 360 nationals and it worked alright.....but SOmeone mentioned it in another post............this invert is way too aggresive. C'mon Natalie Sather was in the A Feature. Dion Hindi runs well. there were some really weak cars in the A Main. JD Johnson made the feature......he set a new 360 track record sunday night at the Brodix race......then didn;t even make the A Main. with all the rain I imagine it was a really heavy track. Hard to start 10th and get 4th on heavy tracks - especially as fast as Knoxville. But it is a big accomplishment to win ANY race at Knoxville - so congratulations to Jeff Shepard. I could give 2 shits less whether he's Posse or whatever............it's just very nice to see someone win who wasn't a huge favorite goin into it if you know what I mean. I really like underdogs pullin out the victories. PA people may not be suprised.........but if you asked anyone who would do better between Shepard and Saldana the answer would be almost unanimous.

but whereas I think the format failed miserably............on the other hand there were drivers in that feature who's odds of being there weren;t very good. Like I said it is good to see suprises.

I'm really interested to see how things work out saturday with them runnin during the day and then runnin the big show in the evening........I think it's gonna be interesting to see how the track holds up. BTW I've never even heard the term "midwest mafia".............guess you'd have to be a part of it to know what it means.........

and ironically..........who really won tonight? if shepard is 8th in points tonight then that means 5-----FIVE WoO drivers are ahead of him in points. Wayne Johnson as well who you could say is part ASCS and part Knoxville. So if anyone is wondering what happened to the "midwest mafia"..........just look above 8th in tonights points. Take It Easy............hehe.

Maybe not PA but where is the 1st PA car? 12th you have 2 okc cars 1 rookie, an australian and last years rookie. Looks like PA sucks.

Yo Slink..............I know for a fact that Mr. Shepard stated in victory lane in PA a few years ago back that he is NOT posse.  The driver you are gloating about has personally stated to all you posse fans that he aint yours............facts are facts.......no posse win tonight.  I dare you to argue this FACT.   It came directly from Jeff's mouth on YOUR soil in victory lane.  Try again tomorrow!!!

I agree Sprintfan16.. these yankees in PA will do whatever it takes to keep their retarted "posse" name in front of people even that don't belong just so that they are not FORGOTTEN about.. what a shame. And what did they win exactly? It's not SATURDAY yet.. Thats the only time it really counts right? They look and act like a Posse of Weiners.. Their race tracks are one grooved and all suck, they accomplish exactly nothing all year long, and someone from Maryland wins a qualifying race they act like they did something.. PLEASE... I thought Shepard retired, this is the first I have heard of him in nearly two years.

Whatever dudes. yes he did say he wasn't Posse. (when he wasn't racing here weekly for points) Now he is, and try to tell the rest of the PA fans that you'll hear otherwise.

Gotta love someone who has never even been to the Nationals bitching and moaning about the format. The Wednesday and Thursday shows of the Nationals are the best shows you will see anywhere all year because of the invert. I base this opinion on actually having been to the Nationals in the past. You have never even seen full heat inversions for the Nationals in person and yet you bitch that it doesn't work? Do you ever post about races you have been to or tracks you have been to? Six-car inversions are weak compared to the format used at the 410 Nationals.

You could "give 2 shits lessabout whether [Shepard} is Posse or whatever," yet you post in every thread the PA racers are mentioned. LOL

Ask, Jeff, John Zemaitis, Tommy Carl and the rest of the winning Zemco crew if they consider themselves a Central Pennsylvania sprint car team. The answer will be YES.

Zero. Hagerstown runs a couple of sprint shows a year.  Their weekly shows are late models.
