After a great A main of great driving by all drivers for 55 laps and Sammy running second to his son, the checkered flags wave and Sammy gives a fellow competitor the middle Finger ! What c'mon if he thought he was held up or what not sure because Kevin made it through the traffic. Just surprised that this occurred, would think he should be happy that a son and father finish 1 and 2. Both are excellent drives but lost some respect for Sammy after that.

He really is , cry and whine cause everyone else was racing also. There are others out there racing for the same thing. Don't get me wrong I like seeing good side by side racing and that's what it was but what a fool to think the other guys ate gonna roll over for Sammy and such class to wave the finger.

Sammy is the true king of racing period and if some dumbass couldn't control his car and ran into you while you were trying to run down the leader. All of you that actually race ( not the keyboard jockeys) would not be happy either. Class acts are for nascar and nuns. Keep it like the good days of racing. I salute the swindells on a dominating performance again and again!

SkagitsTrueOutlaw25, you are exactly right! Sammy was LAPPING the jerk and trying to win the race. Not sure I would have JUST flipped him off, I think I would have had a little "talk" with him after, also! Unfortunately, you see this ALL the time when being lapped some jerk decides to RACE the leaders!! Give me a break! Let them pass you and THEN fall in behind and see if you can LEARN something from them!!!

I agree with ya , that looked to me like what they did- Kevin got around them so they fell back tucked in line and learned a few things. Sammy just learned he couldn't get around them. Great run by Swindells though.

Classic.... Thinking someone in their 50's and still passionate about winning races is going to grow up. Sammy is a living legend in open wheel dirt cars. Love him or hate him but appreciate the show while you can..

Passionate, ok. A living legend, yep. One of the all time greats, no doubt. But I personally, along with alot of others I'm guessin, got tired of his act a long time ago. Ever have a toothache? Didja miss it when it was gone? Nothin personal, jmo. Don't hate the guy or nothin. Give credit where it's due but it's all just gotten to be the same old same old. All that said, congrats to him and the kid on their strong drives at the CB.

I'm Sammy's new number 1 fan how old is he and still more fire than most if not all in the pits. I'll admit it sucks when one of his rants change our view of him but i am wise enough to figure out that attitude or drive to win makes him so FUN to watch . I guess we cant have our cake and eat it too. It's up to the rest of you guys you want to watch a winner (ex.Sammy,Steve,Tony,Dale sr.,Wolfy this list goes on in our sport) or a good loser only one comes to mind i lied no one comes to mind. That list of great attitudes and manors at the track is why i buy tickets to the events. How about you??
