After a great A main of great driving by all drivers for 55 laps and Sammy running second to his son, the checkered flags wave and Sammy gives a fellow competitor the middle Finger ! What c'mon if he thought he was held up or what not sure because Kevin made it through the traffic. Just surprised that this occurred, would think he should be happy that a son and father finish 1 and 2. Both are excellent drives but lost some respect for Sammy after that.

Great video of the entire A-Main!
Check out the 15 minute mark. It once again proves that nothing is ever Sammy's fault. I just can't understand this guy....

SkagitsTrueOutlaw25, you are exactly right! Sammy was LAPPING the jerk and trying to win the race. Not sure I would have JUST flipped him off, I think I would have had a little "talk" with him after, also! Unfortunately, you see this ALL the time when being lapped some jerk decides to RACE the leaders!! Give me a break! Let them pass you and THEN fall in behind and see if you can LEARN something from them!!!

I watched for several laps before the wreck. Kuhn was deffinitely holding the inside lane. Sammy is the one that lost control of his car.
I love the fact that everyone calls him a lapper. Kuhn was top three in the POWRI midgets points last year and a top six in the USAC midget points. He has been running with the same team for several years now. He is considered a favorite to win anytime he shows up.
Yet, another chapter of why I don't like Sammy.

You guys are so gullible. Sammy's "flip off" was a ruse to make people think he was really trying to win, when his thoughts were actually on his dear son winning. He's a teddy bear underneath.... teehee!

Sammy will flip off the King if he loses to him. It has never been anything but that way. We all know people just like him and ironically people like that tend to hate people like that also! When he was in the Channel Lock car I stopped by his hauler at a hotel parking lot at Nationals 12 years ago. He did not give me the time of day. Easy to call him a jerk but he had massive focus on car prep and it was about 10am. Keep it in perspective as this is his whole deal. He dont run a dozer by day or sit in a call center, so I admire his intensity and focus.
Ever see how happy Saldana is when he loses? It is more common than not the long term winners are not good at loosing. Sammy gives the sport some character to love/ hate. I love hating him and will miss him the day he is gone. I have boo'ed him at some Nationals and cheered for him like a brother in law at others.

Right on, 3miles. I just like watching him race, not like I want to be his roommate or anything. You have to be a bit crazy to drive a sprint car, no?

Remember how many people hated Ehrhart Sr. the last few years he raced? Within 30 days the guy was and still is the biggest legend/ hero of Nascar behind Petty. Everyone will love Sammy in the end. Time heals all wounds…

Putting Kuhn's resume (as impressive as it is) on here doesn't alter the fact that he indeed WAS a lapper. Those boys weren't running 1 and 2, Sammy was 2nd and Kuhn was lapped, end of discussion. Typically in racing, when the leaders are all over you, and you're lapped, you let them by. If Sammy had been the backmarker and Kuhn would've made the contact every one of you anti-Sammy's would've been up in arms about how he should be banned for life from the Chili Bowl for ruining Kuhn's shot at a Golden Driller. Opinions are opinions, but double standards are hilarious.

I agree double standards are hilarious. We have gone on three pages about Sammy hates to lose. Do you really think that Sammy would have gladly pooled over and let himself be lapped?
Brad ran the low line and gave Sammy the line that Sammy wanted to run. Sammy lifts the front end loses control of the car and hits Brad. Now how is this Brad's fault? He was on the same track as Sammy?
I still remember watching Sammy on national TV of an outlaw show in PA wall a car in the C main because the other driver had the nerve to slide him as hard as Sammy slide him the lap before. It does not matter to Sammy if it is for the win or for fourth in the C main. Sammy only has one mode. To imply that Sammy would have pulled over to be lapped is hilarious.

There were only a few laps left and Sammy had to try and make it around the top to pass Brad. The bottom out of four had been going away for awhile and they met where they did. Don't think either was at fault. Sammy always wants to win. Second is last to him. I have seen him on and off the track and its two different guys. I am sure an hour after the race Sammy wasn't blaming Brad for anything.
The Bull Dog is the Chili Bowl King !
How man cars did Kevin lap ?

He was also a lapper who was holding his line. Sammy pulled the front wheels up and got into Brad, not the other way around. Not sure what's so difficult to see about that.

FACT: Kevin was within 5 car lengths of Kuhn at the 11:30 mark of the video.
FACT: Kevin was nearly (but not completely) along side Kuhn at the 12:30 mark.
FACT: Kuhn out ran and led both Kevin and Sammy through traffic (about 5 cars).
FACT: Kevin made the pass on Kuhn at the 14:58 mark through 1 & 2.
FACT: On the same lap (15:07), Sammy made contact with Kuhn coming out of 4.
QUESTION: How was Kuhn holding up Sammy when we was indeed faster, passing cars and was not lapped until the lap in which Sammy almost took them both out?
QUESTION: How was is it that Sammy will always find someone or something and hit it, but it will always be their fault?
QUESTION: Did you know that Sammy will even run into a push truck? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBNeInEJvc0
Okay.....I even have to admit, it seemed funny as I was thinking about it, until I watched the video. My point it this. He will always run into people and he will always be a sore loser. I can't respec the guy and his actions because he has no respect for others. Like Dale Earnhardt, if he doesn't kill himself, he will kill someone. I don't see Kinser (or even Kyle Larson) racing like an immature 20 year old.
