Pepsi Six Pack Hobby Stock Race 4 This Friday at Ocala!

     Ocala Speedway will return to action this Friday, July 18th, with another full slate of divisional racing worthy of Florida's oldest and most historic raceway!  This week the Open Wheel Modifieds return to beautiful downtown Zuber, along with V8 Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and The Gladiators.  But headlining the competition will be the Hobby Stocks as they battle in the 4th race of the Pepsi Six Pack Hobby Stock Challenge.

     The Pepsi Six Pack Series was postponed by rains on June 27th, so the Hobby Stock racers are itching to go at it for $1000 to the winner.  Expect extra heat races and likely a B main in order to set the field for this extra intense, 30 lap dash to the checkers.  David Miller Jr. has taken the last two Hobby Stock races at Ocala Speedway, but Grady Christian and many others are not far behind and ready to race Miller to the wire if need be.  So far the Pepsi Six Pack Races have featured plenty of close, side by side racing, plus close finishes at the start/finish line, and fans are hungry for more.

     The pit gate will open Friday afternoon at 2PM, with grandstand admissions beginning at 5PM.  Hot laps will begin around 7PM followed by heat racing at 8PM.  Intermission will feature the return of kids' bike races to Ocala Speedway, so do not let the kids forget their bikes!  And make sure to visit the highly praised, and much improved, Ocala Speedway concession stands.  Congratulations are due to all of the concessions staff for their hard work, and fans are invited to try all of the new menu items that have been introduced, including hot wings!
