Brian,
I do publicly apologise to you. You indeed are doing a good job.I just feel you should hang out more in the pit area with pen and paper to take notes. This of course is only my opinion. Like I said you have an exceptional voice over the P.A. Connie also does a great job. It's just when you play the disco music we cant hear you over the music. I actually think it's cool, but please tone down the music during Driver introduction. With the roar of the engines and and the music nobody can hear you.
Like I said I apologise, Please don't take it personal.

I didn't notice any music the other night, but in general they are kind of hard to hear. Maybe I'm just not used to sitting so far away from the speakers compared to Lawton.
Things that make a great announcer.
1. Don't act stupid, or be stupid.
2. Needs excitement in their voice to help pump up the crowd. Even while calling out line ups.
3. If you make a mistake, fess up to it.
4. Get out and get to know the drivers.
5. Get out on the track and interview drivers during intermission. Gives them a chance to thank sponsors, inform the crowd of plans, ect. and it helps make the intermission go by faster.
6. Announce from the track level/center of track as races are going on. It helps put excitement in your voice.
7. Look up at the fans in the stands when you are talking to them.
I'm sure many more people could add to this list. Nothing annoys me more than an announcer who sounds like they don't even want to be there. Kind of puts everybody in the blah mood.
