Kaley Gharst wins the Brodix Tournament of Champions.
This is win #3 so far of the weekend. He was a preliminary night winner thursday. 410 winner sat night. and wins the Brodix tonight.
Jeff Mitrisin was 2nd. probably woulda won if he'd have gotten a caution. Chuck Swenson put a great move on Beaver and Gary Wright to take the lead on a restart on lap 8 but ran into thick lapped traffic allowing Gharst to pass. 4th was Wayne Johnson who was fast all weekend. with 5th Gary Lee Maier. Gary Wright pulled off around lap 10. think it may have been a tire but he went str8 to his trailer so I think it was something more serious.
with all the rain and horrible humidity track was super tacky again. JD Johnson set quick time along with a new single lap track record at 15. 988......i think. To my suprise - and probably David Jones as well - it was actually a pretty good race (just kiddin with ya Jones). So now it's time for the long ass drive back.
