why not put the cars in the infield these guys are not the outlaws. people come to see there favorite drivers and work on there cars.thats what racings all about. people pay to come andwatch the races if people didnt come and support the drivers mabee they will unload.the infield looks alittle bare when they dont have cars in the pits.

dude83racer,
I respect your opinion on the situation. My only question is this. Are you willing to show up anytime around 4:30is in the afternoon to help us unload, then stick around for another hour and a half and help us load back up? Most of us have a good two hour plus drive home on top of this. Also, are you willing to literally hoof it back up to the parking area (you can't use 4-wheelers at one track for sure) to grab any part we happen to forget to unload? Ninty nine percent of the tracks we go to, Nation-wide don't require us to unload, yet you think it provide's a better show by having us unload? I don't think there is too much racing going on in the infield. Isn't the racing what you are coming to the "races" for. This is my opinion and my opinion only. Wasn't trying to insult anyone, just stating my opinion on this whole situation. Hope to see everyone at the race's Friday night.

Slayton is in the news regarding the safety of their grandstands - and I know some weekly fans are concerned with safety issues of running sprints and the grandstand fencing. I hope it is a safe event for all.
