We lost another old Racer last week, Larry Torson was from Dodge City, Ks. he drove and built cars from the 1960's to the 1980's. They had a Memorial Service last week in the park where the race track was. Roger Burnett has one of his old Rail Cars and they had that there. Larry was a pipeline welder and worked all over the World. I do not have a photo of one of his cars but they were all ways nice cars. RIP Larry

Dave Ross told me he worked with Larry as a teen ager. He said Larry was making so much money welding pipeline that he drove a 56 Lincoln that was salmon and white in color. Dave said he just loved the color, so that is why his first rail car was painted salmon.
