Hello to all,
Friday, I took the cars over to the McCook speedway and put them on display to help promote the Oberlin event. Things went well, so well that the promoter has invited all of us to run our cars Friday, June 8th in McCook, NE. Pits open at 5 pm, hot laps 7 pm, racing starts at 8 pm. So if anyone would like to add another day to your weekend you're more than welcome.
Oberlin KS schedule:
Jun 9: pits open 1pm, hot laps & event at 4 p.m until 8 p.m. Pizza Hut following.
Jun 10: Pits open 11 am, hot laps & event at 1 pm until 4 p.m. Lunch at noon.
Reminder that the URSS had backed out of this weekend, and it will be vintage only. So plenty of track time. We are looking for any volunteers to help and push 4-wheelers etc. Grandstand admission is a donation item for the Oberlin Food Pantry.
