Great photo Welder. It would have looked even greater if you were up against the rail, LOL. In the 70's I'm pretty sure they actually bounce of that rail. It is a scary fast track.
This job just you know what's? In my younger days I started a 2nd shift job in the spring. Well the first night of Salina Speedway on a Friday night I said bye-bye to that 2nd shift job. If I hadn't of seen the 77 Petty car loaded up for Salina who knows I may have went to work. But back then we were young and jobs were a dime a dozen. I had another job that Monday. Glad to see the cars at Salina. Might be the first time. It was always a stock car track. The first year or two they may have run the modifieds.
I think I'm actually going to make it to Belleville Sunday night. upper 70's low 80's it don't get any better and three upper tier classes.
