Has anyone heard anything on Enid speedway, any rumors, anything about C-Ray?

Speedways Inc., which is C Ray, is still awaiting the fairboard to make a decision. Speedway officials do not know anything and no matter how much people call up there, they still will not know anything.
Trust me when I say that when Speedways Inc. find out from the fairboard an answer, you all will be one of the first to know.

Here is an email I recieved to today from county commissioner Marc Bolz....
Jay,
I can asure there are no plans to close the race track. Currently there are negotiations to have a race season this year. As soon as they are finalized a press release will let everyone know what is going on. I expect this to happen in the near future. I will meet with you all if this will help but you know what I know now. I am not directly involved in the negotiations.

From what I understand, there is supposed to be an agreement in principle with a new promoter and the county.........and they are hopeful it will be wrapped up in the next day or two.
