Looks like LCS has sold to a racer from Wynnewood. I talked with Virgil today and that was the story. The new owner has a lot of plans for the track, noting the equal distance between DFW and OKC, and just off I-35, near Lake Murray.

The transition of management will be taking place over the next few weeks.

I am thankful Virgil Paige kept the track open as long as he could and look forward to seeing the operation stay in business.

Virgil now intends to go back to racing, something he couldn't do when he was running the track.

If anybody has an issue of contention with the previous promoter, keep it off this thread please- He was just trying to make things work as best he could with the times we all are in. Virgil is a racer at heart, and is going back to that.

That's all I can say at this moment.

Brian , I have heard the same thing and if it is said racer that I have heard of then I can say that they have have the experience in bigger races. What I mean by that is they have competed in regional and national shows.
