This weeks driver of the week Travis Patch drives a IMCA Mod at Thunder Hill Speedway. One of the first things I heard about Travis was what a nice guy he was, could have been truer. A true pleasure working with Travis during the filming of this video.
A past champion at Thunder Hill Travis is in the process of making the change over from open mods to the IMCA Mods. On this night he also helps his son work out the kinks in the sport mod he is learning to drive.
In his heat race Travis starts 3rd falls back a little and then recovers back to 3rd place, starting 5th in the a-main Travis running in a pack of cars after a restart will go back to as far as 8th place but races his way back to a 3rd place finish.
